14/08/2024: Today we ate really badly, terrible service, dirty cutlery and table, the older lady was very rude. I'm sorry to say but we will no longer go to jan yan for lunch, neither we nor our friends and relatives.

16/06/2024: Very bad. I ALWAYS order the complete menu for €13.90. The very rude Chinese lady who doesn't understand Italian beats me to the €10 one which has two dishes less inside (Even though I had told her what I wanted on the menu). When I get home I find myself with two dishes less. I call to report his mistake (partly mine for not checking the bag before leaving the restaurant) and he arrogantly, snorting, replies saying it's my fault. It's a shame to have to give one star because all the staff who work there are friendly except the lady.

After the second time in which we felt bad after having an aperitif here, I have to think that it is not a coincidence and that perhaps they serve spoiled food. Perhaps an inspection by the competent bodies could be useful…. Furthermore, the person preparing the dishes didn't have the slightest idea of ​​what he was serving and didn't put on the plates what was asked for but something completely different. Furthermore, tables one on top of the other, impossible to get up without moving 10 people from the next table. The waiters come to collect cash as if they were afraid of thieves, perhaps it must have happened in the past, but it is quite unpleasant. It may have been an important bar in the past, now it's just seedy!

03/09/2024: Very pleasant little restaurant, a menu not too extensive but the advantage of good fresh produce, simple wine list. We ate there twice and always good and simple.

11/08/2024: I ate Chinese food and it was great. Fair price. Whoever was with me had pizza which they judged to be good on average. They also serve Italian dishes which look great from the looks of it.

12/08/2024: Budget fast food place, but they are fairly expensive for what you get. They use cheap dough, its definitely not homemade. I've had more authentic Italian pizza in Croatia. Staff is rude. Terrace is small and overgrown, mosquitos everywhere. I'm not sure if the prices on the menu are real or what, I was charged quite a bit more. There's no QR code to scan for menu, actually there's no menu for drinks at all so it's a guessing game of how much you have to pay

15/08/2024: Came in for a meal one evening and we were seated by a very kind and patient lady who helped us through the menu, and navigated our terrible language skills like a professional! Food was delicious and not overpriced, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and the lady who served us was an absolute delight! Very good place!
