Located next to Trotter Park in the heart of NoLo, this rustic pizzeria is one of my favorites. Da Marco does not aim for the trend of gourmet pizzas, but for something more authentic: a welcome that recalls that of a family hosting you for dinner. The prices are low, as far as you can expect from Milan, the quality is average, but what makes this place special is the sincerity it conveys and the warmth with which the owners welcome every customer. 12/12/2024: I took a so-called single course consisting of a small plate of fried potatoes, a slice of beef cut into strips tending towards lukewarm (wow!), some rocket covering the strips and as a top other strips of cheese of an unknown nature without taste (parmesan 12 months?) and leave them all on the plate. An absolutely tasteless and odorless pear and chocolate cake with a coffee. I spent 21 euros. I was left wondering if I hadn't been better off getting a plate of pasta.

Everything was going well until they forgot to bring the pizza to my brother, who was the only one who was missing a plate, and 20 minutes had passed since they brought the plates to the rest of the family. We had practically all finished eating. This incident definitely ruined a day in which everything was going well, a shame because the place is also very nice. The staff was also quite friendly, but it is clear that there was an organizational problem and I hope it will not be repeated for future customers.
