05/10/2025: This venue was recommended by my hotel. I expected a menu focused on seafood and regional dishes, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the house specialty is…Paella! (I know, I know, that dish is Spanish not Italian.) I had the Caprese starter and then Paella Valenciana and both were wonderful! Good balance of seafood and meats with classic saffron rice. I would definitely return!

21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything. What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion. We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

05/11/2025: A deep-dish takeaway pizza. You can order it with more or less mozzarella or with various toppings, including salami and ham. They cut it for you and are quick. You order a pan over the phone, wait in a short line to pay when you arrive, and a few minutes later they call you to pick it up. I recommend it to everyone.

12/10/2025: We tried the pizza last night, a six-slice pan of Margherita pizza. It was very good, nothing to complain about, but €30 for takeout seems really overpriced, especially since usually, if you order a whole pan, you get a slice free or discounted. Yes, they gave us a free 66cl Moretti beer, but we didn't need it; we would have preferred to spend less than having the beer.
