23/05/2025: Passing by chance I stop for breakfast, 8:30 the baskets near the counter full and a bit smelly, croissant of the frozen type, but evidently badly preserved it was all soft and tasteless, cappuccino I didn't even manage to finish it... And the staff at the counter very busy joking and laughing among themselves with an attitude as if they were doing me a favor and not even a response to good morning or goodbye... the basics of education in addition to pure and simple kindness towards the customer... and therefore definitely too much the price 2.90 euros. P.s. the receipt should not be an optional on request of the customer.

16/07/2025: Ristorante di antica tradizione con tipica cucina romana. Il locale e’ ampio ed accogliente e il vasto parcheggio e’ un punto a favore. Ottimo il pane e la focaccia fatti in casa. Primi abbondanti e gustosi e anche la carne e’ buona. Le patatine fritte possono essere migliorate. Il servizio e’ stato cortese ma un po’ caotico e questo ha causato attese un po’ lunghe. Avremmo gustato volentieri il dolce ma abbiamo rinunciato perché, anche se il locale e’ ben climatizzato, a causa delle bizze di una tavolata di altri avventori il proprietario ha dovuto ridurre la climatizzazione per accontentare le loro insistenti richieste. Assolutamente nessuna responsabilità del proprietario ma con il forte caldo dell’estate romana abbiamo dovuto scegliere di andar via.

10/06/2025: Dall'antipasto al dolce c'è sempre da godere, perché tutto factory made (compreso il pane-pizza). Il mio percorso preferito: tonnarello alla pecorara, maglialino o stinco di vitello al forno, ciambellone alla zucca...e vengo !

21/08/2025: We were staying at the Zoomarine facility and weren't sure where to go for dinner. We came across this place by chance, as it's also one of the few pizzerias that serves gluten-free pizza. It's a really cozy place. We had the appetizer from the menu, and the kids had the children's appetizer. Everything was delicious. The pizzas, for those who like Roman-style pizza, are truly delicious. Finally, what made the experience truly unique was Francesca, a delightful woman who makes guests feel at ease. Having someone who works with such heart and passion would boost the value of even a shack.

22/07/2025: Let's not call it pizza. It would be an insult to the art of Naples. It's HORRIBLE, it looks like a car ran over it, and for the rest, just look at the photo.

09/07/2025: Capisco il mantra della difficoltà nel trovare personale, ma far salire e scendere due volte i clienti per trovare un tavolo per DUE persone, prenotato, dicendo che non è disponibile, è veramente incredibile! Pizza buona, buona scelta di vini a calice, urge un po' più di organizzazione e professionalità.

18/06/2025: Cena con amici, due tavoli da 14 persone, uno per adulti e l’altro per bambini. Abbiamo ordinato alle 20,45. Alle 21,30 il tavolo degli adulti aveva già ricevuto antipasto e piatto principale. Il tavolo dei bambini alle 22,15 ha iniziato a ricevere le pizze…. Su 14 hanno iniziato a mangiare in 3. Gli altri aspettavano…Non aggiungo altro. Vergognoso. Non ci torneremo più.

20/07/2025: I left this pizzeria with a mixed feeling: on the one hand, the pizza by the slice is very good, perfectly crispy. It's hard to find better in the area, even if the prices aren't that low. However, the rest of the experience has a lot of room for improvement: the internal organization is confusing, the staff often seems overwhelmed. Orders overlap, wait times increase, and there's a perceived lack of coordination between the dining room and kitchen, especially on busy nights. It feels like they're being managed sloppily. When I asked for two supplì, I was told they didn't have them ready and that they'd have to have them prepared for me🤔... definitely NO!!! Add to that the place isn't air-conditioned; on hot days, the temperature inside becomes oppressive🔥... I noticed a lack of air conditioning, which makes the air suffocating and tired. Crowding and chaos at the outdoor tables, which are arranged too close together, further aggravates the discomfort for customers. Space management is poorly managed, with little regard for privacy at the table. If you're looking for a truly good pizza by the slice, it's worth a visit. But if you also value a welcoming atmosphere, a comfortable temperature, and orderly order management, then there's obvious room for improvement—a real shame! 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

27/06/2025: I had only eaten the pizza by the slice here and I have to say that I consider it one of the best in the area. The choice to sit at the tables was not one of the best, the round pizza did not maintain the same standards as the one by the slice, the service was truly improvised, left in the hands of two decidedly disoriented guys. Inaccurate order and drinks not cold enough. Adequate price.

11/08/2025: A warm welcome from a server at first, but then things went downhill. The pizza was undercooked (mushrooms were almost raw, the dough was undercooked, the toppings were industrial, etc.). The owner didn't seem very welcoming (we felt like we were being watched throughout our meal, with no hello or goodbye), and this was confirmed at the end. Once we finished our dishes, we waited (in vain) for dessert, but instead we were offered the bill. This was to make us understand that we had to leave, as the owner's presence and "heavy" surveillance were felt not far from our table. Very disappointed, compared to all the other places we've eaten in Italy and elsewhere...

11/08/2025: In this heat, it's a great idea to go and enjoy their AMAZING sour cherry granita. All fruit, sugar-free, a refreshing delight. As the bartender suggested, a little lemon gelato goes well with it. We'll be back to try their other products. But in the meantime, I recommend stopping by just to try their sour cherry granita. The bar is close to Piazza del Gesù, where you can visit the stunning rooms of St. Ignatius.

26/06/2025: A truly dreadful experience. We were served bread to start that was half eaten by rodents, which the server tried to dismiss by saying it was ‘just the birds’ - this was unacceptable. The spinach in the salad was wilted, Parmesan stale. The lobster with the spaghetti was overcooked, and the carbonara was undercooked. The service was okay but it is not a place that I would return to. Stay away.

22/06/2025: Good meal, decent service. The risotto and pizzas are also good. The tiramisu is highly recommended.

29/07/2025: andati a pranzo abbiamo declinato la soluzione Buffet e ordinato alla carta. Tagliere per due con affettati e formaggi anonimi, buona una mozzarella di bufala da dividere. Mentre ancora non avevamo terminato l'antipasto ci portano i primi, ma mandati indietro perché sbagliati nel formato di pasta. Tornano i primi, gricia per entrambi, ma in realtà era una cacio e pepe con l'aggiunta di pancetta bollita, un primo è stato lasciato perché non era ciò che avevamo chiesto. Alla cassa ci viene chiesto se era tutto apposto e facciamo notare che non era stato mangiato un primo perché sbagliato, la risposta è stata metta il PIN , praticamente come avessimo risposto al vento. Cameriera gentile e sorridente, ma con troppa fretta di sparecchiare. Sarà stata la mia ultima esperienza

09/07/2025: Piacere Merola” è ormai un punto di riferimento nel nostro quartiere. Marco è sempre presente, disponibile e pronto a risolvere ogni esigenza con il sorriso. I piatti sono eccellenti, curati e con l’aggiunta della cucina romana il menu è diventato davvero irresistibile. La pizza è un altro punto forte: classica, gustosa, ma soprattutto leggera e super digeribile grazie a una lievitazione perfetta! Non solo ci veniamo spesso, ma portiamo a mangiare intere scuole di ballo… senza mai una lamentela! Tutti restano soddisfatti: accoglienza, qualità e atmosfera al top. Consigliatissimo, sempre! 02/09/2025: The food was average...nothing more...the bathroom was awful...and they didn't let us pay by card. They tried to trick us by saying they had a problem with the line at that moment...and they didn't tell us when we sat down at the table. They say they don't understand Spanish and on top of that they criticize us thinking that we don't understand them...in short, don't go!!
