Terrible pizza, too long waiting time for a first course

The Anfora Restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere, we ate very well, and we will definitely be back!!!

I've been frequenting this restaurant for several years now, and there's one thing in particular that sets it apart: after eating here, you always feel wonderful and light, something I rarely experience elsewhere, even at renowned or Michelin-starred establishments. The food is simply excellent, authentic and genuine, with that homey flavor, just like our grandmothers used to make. The menu offers an excellent variety of courses, from starters to main courses, both meat and fish. Believe me: every dish is perfectly cooked and delicious. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and always welcoming, making you feel welcome right away. A little piece of advice: if you can, choose weekdays over weekends. Since it's a place that's rightfully popular, it's always very busy on Saturdays and Sundays. It's difficult to describe certain flavors in words: you have to taste them to understand, but I'm sure you won't regret the experience. I 100% recommend it; try it over and over again!

The atmosphere was pleasant despite the heat outside. We had pizzas and suppli, bruschetta, fries, and dessert. We'll definitely return. The pizza was classic Roman fina fina. I found it just the way I like it: well-cooked.

The food is good. The menu is varied and ranges from a restaurant to a pizzeria (wood-fired oven). It may not be a gourmet restaurant, but by the end of the evening, all my guests were satisfied (and they ranged in age from 2 to 60). It's striking that many of the dishes aren't frozen, so the dishes have that extra something in terms of shape and flavor, and this applies to the cod fillets and zucchini flowers as well as the Catalan cream and tiramisu. It's equally impressive that requests for customized variations on the dishes are welcomed. The staff who take care of the guests are simply wonderful in their politeness, efficiency, and patience. If questions about a dish become difficult, they don't hesitate to ask the chefs for clarification and then return with a report.

The food is always very good. Excellent quality.

The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the owner is friendly and cordial, I go for the pizza which is fantastic but my husband goes for the fish risotto which is delicious and the mussel soup is perfect

The pizza was delicious, thin, just the way I like it. I also tried the fish dishes and desserts, all excellent. Friendly staff, fast service.

Overall everything was delicious, the portions of the mixed grill were a little small, the first courses were abundant, the fried foods and even the seafood salad were good..😊♥️
