We finally met the great Marcello and enjoyed a Roman pizza from another era. The supplì were also delicious, with meat sauce just like they used to be. The staff was young and professional, the price was more than fair—well done.

Simple but welcoming place, friendly staff, excellent pizza, and their homemade fried foods. We'll gladly return.

Marcello greeted us and our dog with a smile, and while we waited a few minutes, he had two supplì brought out for us, also offering us two proseccos. Fast and friendly service. Marcello saw me trying to call the waiter from the other side of the room and came right over. Incredible. The place looked amazing on Instagram, but the real thing doesn't do it justice. We'll definitely be back!

NEIGHBORHOOD PIZZERIA I discovered this place through social media, and I wanted to try it. As we sat down at 7:30 PM, incredibly, some suppliers noisily delivered their goods (tablecloths, bottles, etc.), walking past the tables and sometimes even bumping into them. For fried food, we ordered two zucchini flowers with stracciata, fried artichokes, and cod fillet (real, flaked as it should be). The ingredients and the fried food were good, but the batter was a bit rubbery and not crispy. I also wanted to order the Supplì, but it was with meat. The Roman Classic is just rice with tomato sauce and mozzarella! Followed by a "da Marcello" pizza and an "Ortolana" with homemade vegetables. Average. The place isn't particularly noisy due to the tablecloths. The young wait staff is friendly. With two medium wads and a service charge of €47 for two people. Average. Parking problems.

Traveling from Paris for the Easter holidays, I returned to Rome and decided to give it a try. It was a great experience. The fried food was simply SPECTACULAR. The pizza was delicious, and the pasta was out of this world. We were so pleased we returned two days later. Impeccable service, and the staff was beyond friendly. Five stars are too few.

"Da Marcello" stands out among Roman pizzerias: authentic, thin-crust, and crispy pizza with a truly distinctive flavor. The fried foods, strictly homemade, are the real highlight: intensely flavorful, perfectly balanced, and incredibly light, among the best I've ever tasted. An authentic, genuine, and profoundly Roman experience.

Family-run location, traditional Roman dishes perfectly crafted with tasty and sophisticated combinations. Thin and crispy pizza, delicious. Young staff always smiling and helpful, and then there's Him..... Marcello, Number 1. It's worth going there just for him. I will definitely be back.

Parking is difficult and there's a long line to get in; reservations are highly recommended. The place is nice, although chaotic and crowded. The food is generally excellent and of good quality. Roman-style pizza, fried foods, and desserts are all excellent. It deserves more than 4 stars, but I can't give it half a star because it's not possible. I only have one negative thing that really bothers me: considering the area, the setting, and the type of place...I find the pizza prices too high, while the supplì are really reasonably priced...but what really drove me crazy were the potato croquettes with a generous spoonful of stracciatella on top and a few pieces of crispy bacon for 5 euros. No, I'm not buying them. They need to get their act together, and it's still a pizzeria after all.
