09/05/2026: Location: It's beautiful and super romantic, it's on a terrace, and the alleyway really makes it special. Service: The service from the guys and the lady (I assume she was the owner) was excellent, but everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food: Mmm, the pasta carbonra was an 8/10, not bad, but I can't say it was the best I've ever had. But what was excellent and delicious was the grilled octopus. 10/10. The beer was also very good. Cost: It is a bit pricey, €26 for the octopus and €14 for the spaghetti, plus drinks. But of course, it's worth it because the food is delicious. I suggest you arrive early so you don't need a reservation. As the afternoon goes on, they start asking for reservations because it gets crowded.

04/05/2026: Recommend on social media by several people but we were very disappointed. When we arrived it looked lovely - very pretty and clean. However the staff looked miserable, did not smile or engage with us as we would expect at this calibre of establishment. We shared the raw fish ceviche with mandarin and mint starter which was really just tiny squares of fish in runny orange juice, the Amatriciana had hardly any meat in it and was full of bitter tomato passata, the ravioli was extremely al dente with parts being practically raw and it was only luke warm when served, the ‘baked potatoes’ appeared to be boiled not baked as there was hardly any colour and no crispness to them. No-one checked if we were enjoying our meal. The bill for 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks (no desserts) was €98!!! No bread basket offered but cost €2 if ordered, veg extra at €9. We’d eaten at a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant the night before and paid the same for 2 starters, 2 mains - the best carbonara ever! - 2 desserts and 3 drinks plus complimentary bread basket and 2 complimentary Limoncello shots. We will definitely be going back to Trattoria Della Stampa but not Cucini Del teatro. Sorry Stephano - your restaurant concept is good but the staff are not personable enough for the image you’re trying to build and the food is far too expensive and bland

03/12/2025: La Canadese is a typical restaurant that perfectly interprets local cuisine and tradition. Let me just say we were very hungry! And we were fed, and in a big way! Jokes aside, on our way back from Rome, we accompanied a dear friend to Fondi and asked him to take us to dinner at a trattoria where we could eat well and affordably. Without hesitation, he took us to La Canadese. The friendly and helpful staff seated us on the air-conditioned veranda. The atmosphere was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The wait staff was kind and helpful, and the dishes were delivered promptly, except for the first course, but I'll tell you why later. We ordered a generous appetizer for four, and I can assure you it was plentiful and enough for everyone. In addition to the cold cuts, cured meats, and cheeses, there were two terracotta pots with beans and pork rinds—amazing; and polenta with meat sauce—divine. All of this was accompanied by at least three freshly baked focaccias, served square-cut and piping hot. A 40ml Menabrea red wine, a special one! Then, I assure you, already full and satisfied, we ordered 4 fettuccine with porcini mushrooms... and what can I say? It was exceptional: fresh homemade pasta, a generous and generous portion, tons of porcini mushrooms nestled between the fettuccine, and perfectly creamed and cooked. The reasonable wait for the first course attests to the fact that everything is freshly prepared and totally worth it. We really didn't have any more room, so we finished with a liqueur and coffee. All for the fair and honest price of 150 euros. Guys, it takes about an hour and a half from Naples to get to La Canadese, so it's best to exit at Frosinone. Keep in mind that they make fresh pizza in a wood-fired oven, which must be excellent given the deliciousness of the focaccia, and they specialize in grilled meats and all kinds of side dishes. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it, especially if you want to eat with the land and mountains and love local, traditional cuisine. TOP place!

25/10/2025: I've been eating pizza at "La Canadese" for almost two years, and in that time, I've NEVER been disappointed. Pizza made with passion and attention, and served by extremely kind and efficient staff. They also cater to celiacs and lactose intolerant customers. The environment is clean and well-kept, both inside and out (the latter area is only available during the summer months). Highly recommended!

We enter the perfect location, as do the welcoming service, and the dishes and wines, from appetizer to dessert, are exquisite and beautifully presented. 27/04/2026: If you are anywhere in the Sabina, do not miss La Taverna Del Tiranno. This was one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in Italy. We started with the Jewish-style meatballs—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. One of the standout dishes was a green spaghetti with friarielli and Cantabrian anchovies, finished with something delicately crumbled on top—completely unique, incredibly flavorful, and unlike anything we’ve had before. The pizzas (Ramolaccia and “Tasty One”) were outstanding: perfectly cooked, creative, and packed with flavor. There were also plenty of thoughtful vegetarian and vegan options, and the vegetable medley we ordered was fresh, vibrant, and clearly prepared with care. Dessert sealed it—an exceptional tiramisu and a panna cotta with caramel that was silky and unforgettable. What truly sets this place apart is the service. It feels deeply personal, like every dish matters and every guest is genuinely welcomed. You can taste the passion in the food and feel it in the experience. Highly recommended.

26/05/2026: A small local pizza shop, truly one of the best in Rome. The pizza is light and fluffy with a crispy base. There are many different types to choose from and the prices are very affordable. The potato and sausage pizza is a must try!

15/05/2026: Excellent pizza! The cheese and ham one is airy and soft, the "scrocchiarella" (or "tongue") is crispy but not hard. It's a small place, but it's not a pizza by the plate.

01/05/2026: Following a local's recommendation, we had lunch at this unique restaurant. The space is spacious, bright, and exceptionally clean. The staff welcomed us warmly, proving to be friendly and very helpful. The menu offers a wide selection, and the quality/price ratio is definitely fair, with well-balanced portions. You absolutely must try the young sheep (I don't remember the name), it's truly excellent! A positive experience that I highly recommend.

22/03/2026: We ended up here by chance on a bad family day... But Mr. Marco, with his kindness and his delicious pizzas, brought us a ray of sunshine. The fried foods are also excellent. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: The atmosphere makes you feel at home, with very friendly and helpful staff. We were treated very well. Highly recommended for the excellent food and the hospitality for a family with three children (a rare commodity these days). If you're in the area like we were, it's a must-try.
