05/08/2025: We went there as a family for dinner. The service was friendly and fast. Nice atmosphere, a bit like all outdoor restaurants, but noisy. We ordered mixed bruschetta for €12.00. We received four bruschettas, two with tomato and basil (I make that at home too) and two with fish on top. But I say, if I go to a seafood restaurant, I want to find seafood specialties on the bruschetta, not tomato... a bit of variety, my goodness. The bruschetta itself, the bread on the outside, was very hard and chewy. We ordered a whole wheat pizza by the chef for €18.00. I asked for the prosciutto to be removed (because I don't eat pork) and tuna and onion to be added. At the end of the bill, I saw the tuna and onion added on top for another €4! So, the pizza came to €22! So, if I make you remove a key ingredient from this special pizza, don't add any extra costs. And if you want to gain new customers, since it was our first time there, I'll be fine. The sweet, dried-out cherry tomatoes ruin the entire flavor because they add a hint of sweetness. It's best to remove them from this excellent special pizza. Then the mixed fried fish platter for €22. I would have expected more imagination and variety. The special pizza was very good, with melt-in-your-mouth buffalo mozzarella. I've never tasted it so fresh. I recommend using less oil on the special whole wheat pizza.

05/08/2025: Very good fish, I also recommend marinated sardines… whoa something amazing. Its in the port but its not overpriced like a port. Also… amazing plates

27/08/2025: The pizza is delicious; we always get it here for takeout, and it arrives promptly (they have their own delivery guys), and the prices are very reasonable. We've always had a great experience at the place, too, but it's been a while since we've been there. In my opinion, the best pizza in this area (and they're friendly, too)!

31/05/2025: Very good pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy crust. Very friendly owners. The atmosphere is rather simple and unpretentious—there's also seating in the courtyard. An authentic local with excellent value for money.

02/08/2025: A nicely decorated bar with dark green leather, plenty of seating, a large bar, and a good selection of food and drinks. The chandeliers are famous, intertwined with flowers like some beautiful installation. The staff is sometimes very friendly, sometimes not. The coffee is sometimes very good, sometimes not. As a visitor to that city, I like that they open early, even before 7 am.

25/08/2025: Very nice, family-like service. Delicious and fresh food, the pastas, pizzas, salads and appetizers were all delicious! Next time we are in Trieste, we will definitely go back!

18/07/2025: Easiest 5 stars. We came here without expecting much looking at other reviews, were we in for a treat! The host is a sort of Italian Robin Williams combining a unique dynamic flair, easy hospitality and personal interaction. This seems to reflect in the food that is not just tasty, made and presented with attention but also engaging and interesting. Loved the spaghetti with black garlic, and the pasta with goulash was to die for. Not to mention the lasagnetta with pesto and pea sprouts on top. Served with excellent local Vitovska wine and an excellent tiramisu this lunch approaches what is for me the perfect restaurant experience.

28/06/2025: Stopped in here for a slice of pizza before our visit to Grotta Gigante. Very good pizza and fast and friendly service. In a nice and quiet environment. Please visit this restaurant.

17/08/2025: The food? Average, but the prices are like those of a restaurant! The smoke from the grill is overwhelming and annoying when eating.

19/08/2025: The waiter was inattentive and seemed arrogant. Perhaps he was simply overwhelmed by the 10 people in the restaurant. We left because we weren't willing to wait forever and be looked down upon. And that's not because we're not fancy. We were, and yet. Besides, there are other absolutely authentic pizzerias outside of Porto Piccolo that are easy to reach, even as a guest. A five-minute drive takes you to Italian hospitality in family-run establishments. This pizzeria and its service definitely don't match the service of a five-star resort.
