13/10/2025: Absolutely avoid It used to be safe because of its low prices, but now not even that. The place is dirty, the pizza has deteriorated, and the waiters are increasingly rude. Long waits, zero organization, and a total lack of interest in customers. Total disappointment.

08/08/2025: Good morning, I was here the other night and was quite surprised (in a negative way). The air was unbreathable, really too stuffy and hot. Even if you're there on December 31st, it's best to wear a tank top or you'll sweat. Let's get to the weak point: the pizza. I've never seen such a thin pizza; it was almost transparent (maximum 2 mm); the taste matched the appearance. If you're passing this street, keep going.

01/09/2025: One of the few restaurants that enhances its dishes by pairing them with the most suitable olive oil. Each dish and pairing is explained by the staff, who also guide you through the daily specials and the menu. High-quality ingredients, with homemade bread, pasta, and desserts. The price is fair, around €45 per person for an appetizer + olive oil tasting, two first courses, one second course, one dessert, water, and coffee.

04/01/2026: Quality products but service not very attentive to customers. I ordered bruschetta which arrived immediately and then gnocchi and a dish with sausage and broccoli were supposed to arrive but we waited 1 hour and we went to ask and then they arrived immediately they apologized but by then the damage had been done also because there were not many people to serve.

15/10/2025: This afternoon I was at the Crostino, wanting to buy a slice of Margherita, and a young woman—I assume the owner—replied rudely to me because I asked for a 20 cent discount on a €2.70 slice. I don't think it's fair to treat a customer like that.

28/09/2025: We stopped by to eat a pizza, but unfortunately they don't make pizzas because the oven isn't working.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

01/12/2025: First of all, it's unacceptable for a pizzeria to ignore the existence of the Spianata Calabra. As for the location, it leaves a lot to be desired, and doesn't offer much hope for the hygiene of the premises (and yes, there's not even seating). Furthermore, the pizzas underneath were practically charred, because the pizza chef was obviously more intent on his phone playing music than on the oven. Needless to say, I saw you scrape the bottoms of them like there was no tomorrow when you took them out. The fact is, my partner and I ordered two pizzas last night, and today we're throwing unwanted liquids out of every place we want to go. Thanks, Pizzeria da Caio, first and last time. Go and go Udine! T.M.!!!!!
