As soon as we entered, the warm and carefully crafted atmosphere made us feel immediately at ease: soft lighting, gentle background music, and a style that blends elegance and comfort. The staff was welcoming, kind, and impeccable, professionally recommending the daily specials and matching wines. As for the food, every course was a pleasant surprise. The ingredients were of the highest quality, fresh, and enhanced by expert cuisine that respects tradition while adding a touch of creativity. We tried both first and second courses, all delicious and beautifully presented. The value for money was excellent considering the excellence of the experience. A special thank you to the staff for their attentive service. We will definitely be back soon! 5 stars well deserved. Highly recommended!

03/12/2025: The historic trattoria La Svolta is located in Carpineti, Reggio Emilia. The place is welcoming and very clean. We had excellent pizza. In fact, the place is known as a pizzeria, or as a fry shop. We tried the fried mushroom arancini and excellent cod, all of which were of good quality. A wide selection of beers. Friendly staff, fair prices. Free parking nearby. In the summer, you can also eat outside. I will definitely be back.

30/11/2025: I expected something different, considering it's a restaurant that's over 60 years old. I'm disappointed. The tagliatelle ragù was old and poorly preserved, and the staff was unsympathetic, almost annoyed. The mixed salad was really small in quantity, a real shame, guys... I'm so sorry.

09/12/2025: I've been going to this pizzeria and restaurant for many years. During the winter, they rightly reduce staff, and the longtime waitress serves all the tables. Unfortunately, the last three times I've dined at Pepperoni, we've been treated very rudely, even though I'm always polite and friendly. I'm sorry, but I won't be returning for a long time. I understand the frustration of working with the public, and I understand it's not always easy, but I treat people, especially if they're working, with great care and respect, and I expect the same, even more so if I'm paying for service.

26/09/2025: I rate this pizzeria primarily for what pizza is supposed to be. Tasty, well-cooked...for me, one of the best. Plus, they make their own gluten-free pizza, and the place is AIC certified, making it a great choice for celiacs looking for a gluten-free pizza that's a cut above the rest. The downsides are that since it's a small place (and only offers takeout), they don't have a bathroom and no dining area.

02/02/2026: I came to eat with my girlfriend one evening. We ordered two pizzas, and within 10 minutes they were ready. The dough is very light, the toppings are generous and high-quality. Overall, they create a delicious and unique pizza, definitely worth trying.

31/01/2026: The pizza arrived almost 2 hours late. We asked the delivery guy why the pizzas were delivered late, and he replied, "Don't blame me, blame the pizza makers." I just wanted to ask. Then he asked our ages (we don't know why) and then said, "Speak calmly." But everyone was speaking calmly, and the delivery guy said, "This isn't Pakistani, it's Correggio." Being Indian, this really offended us.
