16/08/2026: I ordered two pizzas, one of which was okay, though undercooked, but let's move on. The other pizza, according to the receipt, was supposed to be a pizza with fries and fresh mushrooms. Well, I got a pizza with fresh mushrooms and ONLY ONE FRY, LITERALLY. I called the pizzeria again and explained the situation. The girl who answered LAUGHED, saying she'd have the fries delivered, since I'd already been waiting literally over 50 minutes. I asked her how long it would take, especially since the pizza would have gotten cold in the meantime. She replied that the delivery guy with the fries would arrive in 10 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes and no one showed up. I called the pizzeria again, saying that at this point I'd prefer a refund and eat somewhere else, obviously returning the pizza. She said to me in an extremely RUDE tone, "I don't understand, do you want a full refund?" I told her I wanted a refund for MY pizza (the one in the photo), not the other one, obviously, since it was correct and I let my partner eat. She told me a refund wasn't possible once the pizza had been eaten. I explicitly told her that OBVIOUSLY the pizza hadn't even been touched, and she replied, "Well, then I'll send the delivery guy for the refund if you give me the pizza back." But excuse me, who wants a bad pizza? Of course I would have given it back. We agreed on a full refund (€13 for the pizza, as per the receipt). I waited another 20-25 minutes, and he showed up with €11. I asked him why, and the poor delivery guy replied that the girl told him it was €11. Obviously, I wasn't mad at him since he had nothing to do with it, but I didn't understand why €2 less? Did you want me to pay DELIVERY ON THE REFUND? I call back one last time and ask the girl why it's €11 and not €13, given that the pizza was priced that way. She doesn't answer my question and tells me she doesn't have any delivery men who can bring me the remaining €2 at the moment. I tell her that in that case I would have come over, but I obviously wanted a refund for the delivery fee, since I would have had to drive there. Magically, after this conversation, the delivery man was available. The conclusion of this truly appalling experience: I wasted 2 hours on a simple pizza that they wouldn't remake from scratch. In the end, I went to the Chinese takeaway in Fiorano. Within 15 minutes, everything was ready and nothing was wrong. Great. Never again will I go to this pizzeria or its related chains.

21/07/2026: Recommended by a dear friend, nothing to complain about, the dough was exceptional and they were also very generous with the toppings! They even left us two free cans of soft drinks 🤩

15/08/2026: I've been there a few times for pizza, which was pretty good. Today I wanted to try the fish, but it was truly inedible. Since it was mid-August, they raised the prices. Bottom line: €90 for two for practically nothing. Truly inedible. For the first time, I didn't even try to finish my plate. Ridiculous prices for frozen, poor-quality fish.

15/07/2026: Beautiful location, really good pizza and cuisine. Low-crust pizza, light and digestible dough, with perfect ingredients. The seafood was very well prepared and excellent. Excellent and attentive service.

21/07/2026: Il Patriarca has a long-standing presence in the Modena restaurant scene, with a cuisine that ensures excellent seafood dishes and traditional local cuisine. The pizzeria is also of a decent standard. The staff "knows their trade": the service and table settings complete the excellent impression of an establishment capable of satisfying individuals, couples, families, and even large groups.

24/08/2025: Amazing pizza. Tried 3 different pies and a saltimbocca I think it's called and every single one was so delicious, so well balanced, and just such an experience. The pizzaiolo here KNOWS what he's doing. He knows how to satisfy your salty, sweet, crunchy, soft, bitter, sour, umami, and creamy craving in 1 bite. Highly recommend it here. Pizza does not take long to make and cook, less than 10 minutes, and he was kind enough to give my husband and I a pie that was half 1 pizza and half another that we were undecided about. Very friendly chef.

23/07/2026: I've come across this restaurant several times, but always outside of lunchtime, which I only managed to try today. There's a few seats for us truck drivers, but not much. Still, it's worth a stop. The staff is cheerful (Barbara) and friendly (Linda). Excellent value, with a varied and interesting menu. I haven't tried the pizza, but from what I've seen, it's quite satisfying, as all the ones they served were beautifully presented and succulent. I recommend it! Update July 2026 I confirm the restaurant's 100% validity.

19/07/2026: Number one pizzeria restaurant! Welcoming place, competent, friendly, and helpful staff. The food is fantastic, everything: pizza of all kinds, meat of all types and breeds. The fish will leave you speechless! You'll feel right at home there!!! Not to mention the desserts...! You can go in with your eyes closed!!!

09/08/2026: Good pizzeria, efficient staff, good-quality ingredients. The space is quite spacious, but especially upstairs, it's a bit sprawling. More suitable for groups than a romantic getaway.

07/08/2026: Fast food near the center of Maranello. Excellent anti-Covid sandwiches, delicious and well-filled panzerotti. Super fair prices. The place is a bit small, but the owner is friendly. Worth a try.
