29/01/2026: I'm so happy to live near this pizzeria! The place is small but very welcoming and clean, with the option of dining in or taking out. The staff is very kind and friendly, and despite the change of management a few years ago, the quality has remained high. I really like these pan pizzas because I find them delicious, not too big, thin, and easy to digest; and every time I order, they always include chickpeas. Always top-notch!

09/03/2026: I stopped for a fixed price dinner, the place is worth a look on the outside but the inside is all in all familiar, as are the staff who run it. The food and service are decent considering the fixed price and I think that I would definitely return if I had the chance.

24/02/2026: I've been there before and it's always a confirmation. The food is good, and they have a set menu for €14, or €16 with dessert. Today I was late, there were five of us, and they cooked for us after the kitchen closed.

22/02/2026: A restaurant located outside of Ferrara's city center, a mediocre experience. The pizza was nothing special, a bit heavy and not very easy to digest. Some of the burgers were bad, unfortunately of poor quality. (Not enough meat and terrible flavor.) It's a Saturday night, but the service is too slow. With such a long wait, about an hour and a half, it's unacceptable that they didn't at least bring drinks promptly (we even had to insist with the wait staff). The prices didn't match the quality. A SHAME.

06/02/2026: I ate a very thin and dry pizza, with very little toppings and very few ingredients. It was practically a crust that was almost impossible to cut. It's a shame because the place is very nice and the staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful.

14/11/2025: Located in the center of Copparo, it began as a takeaway pizzeria, but under new management it can now truly be called a true pizzeria. Continuing its original business, it has expanded to include seating for all types of pizza. An outdoor veranda can accommodate customers both in winter and summer.

16/02/2026: Update February 15, 2026 Today we went to Papanero for a raw fish lunch, which we booked last week. At the end of the meal, we said just one thing: "Amazing!" And it truly was: two tartares (tuna and swordfish) and three carpaccios (sea bass, tuna, scallops) each, then a beautiful platter (for two) piled high with scampi and red shrimp. All with original and unobtrusive seasonings, which only enhanced the flavors, some more delicate and others more bold, just waiting to be showcased. Each dish was paired with fruit (strawberry, peach, pineapple, kiwi, lime), which further enhanced the pleasure, along with all kinds of spices (those chili pepper threads were delicious!). We thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks also to the always very welcoming and friendly staff, for a truly fair price. We can't say anything other than that Papanero remains a perfect stop for any need. Thank you! --- August 2022 --- Two dinners in two evenings with family and grandparents, we tried practically everything there was to try: first and second courses, meat and fish (cooked, souped, and grilled), and in every case we were satisfied with the excellent quality of the ingredients, the decidedly generous quantities, and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. Even the simplest dishes, from pasta all'arrabbiata to pizza marinara, are no exception, whether because of the very "clean" preparation or the excellent pizza dough. The grilled fish, too, is always delicious and fresh, as it is here. The fish soup was also excellent and plentiful (the only flaw being the industrial croutons). A separate discussion: the seafood pizza (which, for my personal taste, I ordered without mozzarella): aside from the fact that it's not every day you find scallops, crab, shrimp, or scampi on a pizza, the most surprising thing is finding yourself faced with a veritable, enormous seafood soup on a pizza base. And enjoying it from start to finish, all of it, with a seafood start and a pizza with soup sauce at the end... Some might object to the price; I myself was a little hesitant at first... But it's worth every penny! Finally, the staff: young, very kind and energetic, even ready with a joke when appropriate. Thanks, we'll definitely be back!
