21/01/2025: Historic place, simple and delicious pizza, you can choose between the red one and the margherita in two sizes and an excellent chickpea flour. Inside there are just a few stools leaning against the wall and a couple of tables where you can eat on the fly in front of the wood-fired oven. I advise you to arrive a few minutes before opening because the place is very popular, enjoy a beer and wait in the heat for your pizza to arrive. Simple, Spartan, perfect. Cheap prices.

13/01/2025: Fabulous chickpea flour!! We arrived here by chance as a couple and ate the farinata, which was really good! The place is a historic inn in Ferrara, it's quite small, there are just a few tables but really recommended if you want something more particular than the usual set pizzeria.

15/02/2025: We went to this restaurant last night on the recommendation of a colleague. I must say a discovery from all points of view. The excellent welcome from Franco, an experienced owner with a clear passion for what he does, who makes you feel at home....the very kind waiters.... thanks to Massimo who served us with care and professionalism, advising us and meeting our needs. But let's move on to food. Delicious scallop gnocchi and ravioli with top lobster. Grilled food worthy of note and fried food excellent and not greasy at all. Mascarpone with sublime dark chocolate flakes. We paid the right price for the quality of the food and the service. We will certainly return. I dare say that we need more people like them to manage the premises because, sometimes, the service really makes the difference. Thank you "grandfather Socrates".

06/01/2025: Overall very positive, we ate really well and the environment is very pleasant. We had some small mix-ups with the starter and bitters but I think it was due to the fact that there were many customers during a holiday period

15/12/2024: It's been years since I went there to eat something in the pizzeria-restaurant. I tasted a hot and a cold starter and a seafood risotto, all of excellent quality for my tastes. Portions in the right quantity and the service friendly and polite. Advised.
