10/01/2026: WOW !!! got to be the best pizza I've ever had. Here in Winter so was quite. When the locals come out in the cold and are eating in here you know it's good. Not expensive for the quality of food and service you get. If your ever around here call in and eat it's worth the detour.

27/12/2025: Excellent pizza, tasty but not salty, with distinct flavors, and well-cooked, light pasta. The waitress was very kind, and the wait time was more than acceptable. We had a very pleasant evening.

05/04/2026: The tasting platter of three starters was excellent; we tried the lasagna, ravioli re enzo, tortellini carbonara, and tagliatelle bolognese—all very good! They took a little while, but it was worth the wait.

19/04/2026: Anyone who gives more than one star, I wonder what they're used to eating at home?! I ordered a fish starter: chitarra allo scoglio, but the mussels smelled bad and were raw, and the rest was of poor quality, including the sour tomato sauce. An overall negative experience, from appetizer to dessert. That same evening, I had a severe stomach ache with unpleasant consequences. Given the restaurant, one has high expectations but comes away severely disappointed. I wouldn't go back.

29/03/2026: Unfortunately, everything was wrong: completely undercooked pizzas, especially the double-dough ones like in the photo. The beer was watered down, and the wine was like fruit juice. The giant pizzas that arrived were only half-cooked and lacking in sauce. To top it off, a nasty case of indigestion the next day caused by the undercooked dough, which was avoidable.

08/04/2026: Amazing pizzas! The selection is huge (a three-page pizza menu). Friendly staff and fast service. We once ordered takeaway and the pizzas were ready in five minutes. We would definitely come back.

25/03/2026: We went to Piedigrotta 2.0 and had a really good meal, especially the fish. The grilled fish was excellent, and the first courses were also very good, well-made and flavorful. The pizza wasn't bad either, so there was something for everyone. Only one caveat: the wait was a bit long for a Thursday, but overall the experience was positive. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat good fish.

02/03/2026: I went for lunch yesterday, during a visit to the Ferrari museum. Everything was perfect. Excellent staff. Very detailed explanations, as I'm gluten-intolerant. The owner and the waitress offered me a limoncello on the house. I declined because I have to drive and don't drink alcohol. However, I thank them for their courtesy and helpfulness. If I have the opportunity to be in the Maranello area, we'll definitely see each other again. Keep up the good work. Best regards.

16/03/2026: A good place to eat. I came with a group of friends on a Monday night, and they were quick and the food was good. It's okay.

24/02/2026: Everything was excellent. We had pizza, but I saw many other tempting options, like the burgers and meat dishes. There's a fireplace in the dining room, which we really liked. We were in a hurry, but they served us right away. Everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

14/04/2026: We arrived from the mountains of Bergamo, "Colli di San Fermo," 1100 meters above sea level, to visit the beautiful Fontanellato in a 43-year-old camper van named "scassino" (but inside it feels like Cartago in 2026 ;-) ). In the evening, hungry, we asked the locals for help, and they recommended this restaurant. We were amazed, it felt just like being by the sea: delicious spaghetti with clams, made with the freshest clams, crispy and dry fried fish, and a fish appetizer that smelled of freshly caught seafood. The pizza was enormous, made with two dough balls, crispy, flavorful, and very well cooked. Another noteworthy detail was a very mysterious character who was wandering among the tables, thin, tall, and very curious to know how we were getting on. We kept telling him that everything was delicious and that not only had the beautiful fortress amazed us, but also this welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with truly jaw-dropping cuisine! To our surprise, we found the curious and very intuitive guy, with a New Dandy style reminiscent of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's character (if he'd had a pipe), at the cash register!?! In the end, it was the owner :-), who, with immense pleasure and in a friendly and welcoming spirit, showed us an already honest bill, giving us an additional discount for having arrived safe and sound from 1100m to Fontanellato in a patched-up 1982 Ford Transit camper Pilote, less than 5m long. Thank you so much, Mr. Sherlock, we will remember you and all the welcoming and kind staff. Until the next "burglary" adventure!
