31/03/2024: Finding myself on the road I stopped at this pizzeria restaurant, upon entering I was immediately struck by the place, and it seemed to me like I was going back in time, on the wall there are many photographs from the 20's, 30's and 40's, then there are many gadget., the very kind owner found me a table, very nice like all the staff., I had a pizza., ascolana., but there are so many, it was excellent, light dough and well supplied, I was satisfied in all, congratulations.!!

06/04/2024: Our last stop after spending a week touring northern Italy and having enjoyed countless magnificent gastronomic experiences with my wife and 7-month-old baby was Bologna. On the recommendation of the hotel receptionist we headed to this restaurant. We arrived, everything was full (or that's what they told us at least) and they made us wait half an hour in the street. While the Italian groups, couples or families continued entering as they arrived. As they saw that we were not leaving and we were at the door waiting for “our turn,” they told us to sit at a table where there was no possibility of leaving the baby's chair nearby. When they asked for explanations and asked for another table, they basically invited us to leave. Nothing like this had ever happened to me in my life.

24/03/2024: I've been to the Masticabrodo restaurant and had a mixed experience. Although the menu needs improvement, with a more refined presentation than a simple piece of disposable paper, I must admit that the wine list was a pleasant surprise. The Nabucco was particularly outstanding. The charcuterie tasting was divine, even if the salami didn't fully meet my expectations. The flakes of 24-month aged parmigiano reggiano were delicious, while the crispy polenta was decent but not exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made the experience very pleasant. The anolini, then, were simply divine, with an incredible filling! The environment was very calm and peaceful, probably because I arrived around 11am. However, the prices were a little above average, but considering the quality of the food and service, it was definitely worth it!

04/04/2024: The best pizzeria in Reggio Emilia. There are no doubts. The pizza is monstrously good, they use ingredients based on the seasonality of the products and constantly change the menu. Refined, gourmet pizzas, with truly unique flavours. You have to book weeks in advance, because the place is small and there aren't many tables. Better to eat there than take away, because the pizza is really good if eaten on the spot; if it is put in the pizza box it completely changes the flavour. Absolutely worth trying at least once in your life. Then you will always go there, guaranteed

17/03/2024: One of the three best pizzerias in Reggio Emilia and its province. High quality dough combines with first choice ingredients in a winning combination. If you also love flavors that are a little out of the ordinary... well, you might be surprised. Excellent appetizers.

25/03/2024: A fantastic Sunday for my wife Patrizia's birthday, if it were possible I would give 6 stars, everything from the fabulous food to the delightful welcome, for my next lunch we will undoubtedly return.

24/03/2024: We always drive up to this pizza place during our summer break. The setting is gorgeous, the prices on the food quite reasonable. The pizzas used to be better, but this year we found them to always be slightly over cooked and burnt around the edges. I am sure that this will be corrected soon enough. We always enjoy this place so much that we overlooked this little detail and had a great meal!

30/03/2024: Excellent pizza restaurant. Friendly staff, clean and tidy room. Unfortunately, as it was Saturday evening we had a bit of a wait (around 30 minutes) as everything was full but it was worth it. Really good pizza and average prices

02/04/2024: Terrible start to the season, a shame because the food was delicious. Start of fast service, the dishes arrived shortly after ordering, even though, two were missing. We wait a few minutes and ask, after checking the order they ask us to wait... 30 minutes pass and two unsolicited first courses arrive which, understanding the situation, we tell them to leave, but the waitress insists saying that they were not ours even if the number of the table she pronounced corresponded. We wait another 30 minutes and finally the right dishes arrive. At the time of the bill they presented us with the total as if nothing had happened, after asking for explanations they tried to blame the waiter, which makes no sense because the order was right and, with a certain tone of arrogance, we were asked if we had explained the all because we wanted a discount and when we replied "it would have been the minimum" they replied, always in an arrogant tone, that we had to explain everything to them first, that they couldn't do anything now and that the person we were talking to didn't know anything because at the time of the facts he was in the kitchen... but where do they prepare the dishes...?!

03/04/2024: The pizza, unfortunately, wasn't quite to my taste. It was a bit overloaded with meat, which overpowered the fresh ingredients I usually enjoy on a pizza. However, the wine list offered some great options, and I found a delicious and well-priced bottle. The dessert was also fantastic! I was a little surprised that the waitress, who seemed young, wasn't able to communicate in English, but it wasn't a major issue.

03/04/2024: We come to Montichiari to take a leap into the past... for the environment, the traditional cuisine and the cheerfulness of the owners. Everything was excellent... we will definitely be back

01/04/2024: Excellent restaurant where we were able to taste fried dumplings with cured meats, excellent ravioli, a good risotto, pisarei with beans and tomato, grilled meat, braised meat and lamb, the desserts are on the buffet, the very friendly manager entertains customers with his jokes , like draft beer, running water and brandy, the bitters produced by them are very good. We will definitely return.

22/03/2024: They don't make wholemeal pizza but only classic. Good service. Very small and uncomfortable environment because you have to go upstairs.
