22/08/2024: He is no longer the historic Mattozzi he once was. I had missed it for several years, but I had excellent memories of the classic Neapolitan pizzeria with good pizza in a typical popular trattoria environment. I returned there as a Neapolitan on a lunch break from work (and not as a tourist) and I found an environment probably only suitable for passing tourists: --> a compact and poorly or poorly leavened dough, probably the result of a quick preparation to accommodate the volumes; --> a service that was, to say the least, listless and unwelcoming and constantly bickering among themselves over a work organization put in difficulty by a turnout exceeding their management capabilities. There were two of us, ordering two simple MARGHERITA PIZZAS which were served to us 10 minutes apart. The colleague started eating so as not to let his pizza get cold and while he was on his last bite, they finally served mine. Without any explanation for the inconvenience and without even any sign of apology or mortification from the staff. We paid, thanked, said goodbye and I don't think we will go back again, neither as tourists but above all as Neapolitans.

18/07/2024: Otra de las razones por la que volveré a Ischia, además de sus atardeceres anaranjados y sus aguas termales, sin duda, es por el restaurante Pane e vino, en el que no solo son deliciosos sus platos de pescado fresco y pasta sino todo el personal que derrocha simpatía y amabilidad, desde Miguel Ángel, el dueño, la chef Mónica y el resto del equipo. Muchísimas gracias por hacer nuestra estancia en Ischia aún más maravillosa , en especial, a nuestro amigo dominicano.

Le pizze erano stracolme di olio,l’ortolana che su just eat presenta patate zucchine melanzane peperoni e mozzarella mi è arrivata con friarielli funghi melenzane e mozzarella. SE NON CI SONO GLI INGREDIENTI CHE RISULTANO SUL SITO NON POTETE SOSTITUIRLI A VOSTRO PIACIMENTO.

24/08/2024: Don't be fooled by the terrace full of people. If you look at their faces you will see that they are either bored with waiting or disappointed with the poor quality of the food. We made that mistake and suffered both consequences.

21/08/2024: They treat you very well so that you sit down, then they charge you for consumption that you did not make and I am not talking about the coperto. I ordered a beer that never arrived, and when I claimed it later, they ended up charging me for 2 beers. And I ordered the Neapolitan pizza for 5 euros and they charged me for a different, more expensive meal.

05/07/2024: Ristorante con posizione invidiabile, adiacente la famosa piazzetta di quest’isola amena, gode di una vista privilegiata sul sublime e iconico golfo di Napoli con il Vesuvio sullo sfondo. Le portate scelte risultano eccellenti: cappesante fritte per antipasto, tonno e ricciola freschissimi e cucinati alla perfezione. A concludere un gustosissimo dessert composto da profiteroles al cioccolato bianco e pistacchio . Amichevole, solerte e puntuale il sevizio. Ampia scelta di bottiglie locali e non.

30/06/2024: Fantastic view of island. My husband and I and another couple that we met on a Sailing Boat Excursion had lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant is clean and we were able to relax while there. I had the Tartufata and my husband had the Contadina. The meals were good but expensive. Service was excellent.

10/06/2024: Sono stato a mangiare a pranzo la pizza, la pizza tutto sommato non era male ma quello che mi ha decisamente deluso è stata la scortesia del personale, per aver richiesto solamente se la pizza fosse ben cotta mi hanno risposto in maniera aggressiva dicendo che a Napoli loro la pizza la fanno così per poi sorridere in maniera ironica e andare via. poi abbiamo richiesto delle forchette nuove e me le hanno portate dopo 15 minuti, e i fritti erano ancora sulla tavola e ho dovuto mangiare le zeppo line con le mani. Prezzo anche abbastanza alto, sicuramente non ritorneremo

10/06/2024: Siamo stati Qui a pranzo ieri pomeriggio, direi che la scelta è stata ottima! Eravamo in 5, io ho scelto la pizza Ciccio, devo dire molto buona essendo in pratica una pizza ripiena e non classica! Gli altri sono rimasti molto soddisfatti, la comanda è stata gestita in maniera veloce nonostante il locale fosse abbastanza pieno! Il posto catino, il prezzo molto abbordabile almeno per le pizze! Insomma buon pranzo o cena a voi popolo di TripAdvisor.

04/08/2024: Horrible experience! The waiter was not very kind. We had 3 dishes of spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were cold inside. We let them know and he walked over to the microwave and heated our plates up. Very unprofessional! We didn’t end up eating our meatballs in the end. I do not recommend spending your money here. There are plenty others that are more accommodating and more pleasant!
