05/03/2026: What could you possibly expect from a restaurant located in the heart of Pozzuoli, a melting pot of Neapolitans and tourists from all over Italy and perhaps the world? It's not an elitist restaurant, so you have to settle for the culinary offerings and their quality. The first thing you notice upon arrival is the overcrowded outdoor terrace: often, all too often, you end up chatting with the people at the next table. If you're a tourist (which fits the stereotype), it might be fun, but if you're looking for a bit of privacy, this isn't the place for you! Quite the opposite! You might run into (as we did) a super-confident (and wine-fueled) person who takes his latest conquest out to dinner and shouts and screams because he has to let everyone know. If they then spot you and choose you as their conversation partner, they might start telling you how their love story began... the suggestion is to quickly pay the bill and run away: do you want dessert? Coffee? No thanks! You might also (again due to the limited range) witness some truly unpleasant scenes where the restaurant manager (as if he were the owner) rails almost ferociously against the newest member of the restaurant staff for a minor mistake (but the owner is happy). Ultimately, given the high attendance and the fact that it was almost the end of the season, the staff was definitely undercooked. The portions are fair for the price, the dishes are appealing, and after all, being a seaside restaurant, if even the fish dishes aren't good, it wouldn't be so renowned (unjustifiably, in my opinion). The fried fish is quite good when the oil is fresh, but it could be improved: I saw another one arrive at the next table that was overcooked. I must acknowledge the attempt to separate the aperitif area from the dinner area (though it's not always successful), and I can't imagine what would happen otherwise. I would have added half a point to all the options, but Google doesn't allow this.

05/02/2026: A "student cafeteria" serving simple but delicious home-style dishes, it's also a great place for workers to grab a quick lunch. Prices are very reasonable, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. I recommend it.

01/05/2025: Gita con amici per 4 giorni; trattoria scelta dopo aver consultato recensioni Tripadvisor. In un ambiente semplice, ci siamo trovati talmente bene che abbiamo pranzato e cenato solo lì per tutto il soggiorno, piatti molto buoni e prezzi eccellenti. Da segnalare spaghetti con gli scampi, polipo alla griglia, gnocchetti alla sorrentina, parmigiana di melanzane e pesce spada ai ferri. Apprezzabile la cordialità e disponibilità del personale, preparato anche a spiegare la preparazione di alcuni piatti. Consigliato!

22/01/2026: I went to So Zen for the first time for a Saturday night event. There was a singer, a DJ set, and dinner. This place isn't really a dinner. They mostly serve appetizers and pizza. Not excellent, to be honest. The place is quite large inside. There are tables and a bar. The outside is definitely nicer, especially in the summer because it's outdoors. The special thing about this place is that you can smoke hookah. Of course, you pay.

14/10/2025: Ordered 2.5m of pizza, arrived on time and all the flavors were delicious, but the spectacular thing was the message received the next day to survey the service and taste from the owners, this gesture denotes professionalism and seriousness.

03/09/2025: Unforgettable evening, dinner with relatives promises to be an evening of good humor and tranquility. The pizza was supposed to arrive at 9 pm, after half an hour we call and moved it to 9:30 pm, then we call back and we arrived at 10 pm, after several attempts we manage to get an answer, they are for delivery, still nothing arrives, finally at 10:20 pm we have our pizzas, very good but by now the atmosphere is becoming pungent and irritable. We receive an apology for lack of staff, it is September not July or August and on a Wednesday not Saturday, perhaps paying in advance is not a good idea, I'm sorry but you manage to lose customers even if you make good food.

16/02/2026: Terrible service; they sat us down and within 10 minutes, no one paid attention to us, not even asking us anything, and they didn't even have a menu (I had to find the waitress, who later brought me the QR code). Then the order was taken by a waiter who was in a hurry and was completely unprofessional. I asked for advice on which vegetables to put on the pizza (since they don't have any vegan options) and he couldn't suggest anything. In the end, we both (my girlfriend and I) chose a focaccia with broccoli rabe and French fries (they didn't have baked ones), and I had to stop him at the last minute as he ran off, telling him I still had to tell him what we wanted to drink. So I asked for sparkling water (and then received it still). I then specified that I wanted peppers on one of the two pizzas, if they had them, and he brought me a plate of peppers on the side (20 minutes before the pizzas) without even an empty plate for my girlfriend, who would have watched me eat on an empty stomach. The pizzas arrived after a total of 40 minutes (the dining room was almost empty) because they were obviously focusing on takeout pizzas. The pizza was quite good, but it was all fried and covered in too much oil... not to mention the hair and crumbs I found in my seat when I arrived. Then the price was incredibly high...that measly pizza with just two simple ingredients was €7.50 (more than a pizza with cream, ham, provolone, and croquettes that they sell, and those ingredients are definitely more expensive). They decided to put the peppers aside on the plate to justify an additional €4. When paying, they also noted on the menu some bruschetta and croquettes from another table, as well as drinks. I told her they weren't ours and explained that it would be nice to find some good vegan alternatives to the usual foods in the future, and the cashier replied that it was Valentine's Day... (which has nothing to do with what I said). But these days, you know... if someone wants a vegan meal, it's normal to magically raise the prices (despite cheap ingredients), and if they say something constructive, just wait until they finish speaking and say something random.

07/02/2026: I ordered on delivery which was 7.45pm now it's 8.48pm I called them and they told me to wait another hour I didn't even know this pizzeria I wanted to try but honestly disappointed I will never order from here again I hope that at least the pizza arrives hot

14/02/2026: He wanted to charge us extra, the order was 16€. Luckily he gave us the rest of the money after we told him. Sadly still charged us 3€ for the services.

13/08/2025: Very good food and very friendly service, the location is also quite nice, the only flaw is the appetizers: tasteless omelette and zeppole, and bacon and cheese balls that seemed frozen, good croquettes

30/04/2025: Sono stato con mia moglie in questo splendido locale. Accolto con attenzione dal cameriere Antonio abbiamo provato diverse pizze . L’impasto e’ eccezionale cosi come la qualità degli ingredienti. La pizza con le scarole non ha eguali a Napoli. Leggerissima la marinara. Lo consiglio a tutti.

29/04/2025: Finalmente una pizza ottima, esattamente come la cercavo e come ormai nel Nord Italia non si mangiano più. Il locale non è in una zona molto turistica e quindi il locale era pieno di persone del posto, ottimo indizio per una buona pizza. Siamo rimasti completamente soddisfatti sia delle pizze che del servizio, tutti con il sorriso, gentili e premurosi verso i clienti. Prezzi assolutamente corretti. Bravissimi.

13/09/2025: Kind and courteous staff starting from the owner Nicola always kind and courteous and also Michele the pizza chef, excellent and good pizza 😋 my favorite pizza is the queen margherita always excellent now our favorite in the family, I recommend you try their specialties you will not regret it !!
