21/06/2025: Terrible fried pizza I also ordered a sausage and wurstel pizza for my son.. but they prepare me a sausage and friarielli.. I bring it back and obviously they take away the friarielli and put raw wurstel.. obviously the flavor of the friarielli remains and my son doesn't eat it.. and luckily he wasn't allergic to it.

14/08/2025: We wanted to try the rocket pizzas, but honestly, they seemed like pizzas from the 90s. Dry dough. Croquette pizza is light years away from a real croquette pizza... I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it.

We tried the steak and it was not cooked all the way through, we asked if this could be done a little more, but due to waiting our chips went cold and when the steak came back it was awful. They literally reheated the steak and bought it back. Just don't have the steak.

Con un’onda di freschezza e gusto, il mare è arrivato direttamente sulla nostra tavola: ogni portata esprimeva la qualità straordinaria di ingredienti scelti con cura, lavorati con passione e serviti con eleganza. Il pesce crudo era eccellente, freschissimo, con tagli precisi e accostamenti studiati per esaltare il sapore naturale. Non solo materia prima di alto livello, ma anche un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero onesto. Il tutto incorniciato da un ambiente familiare e accogliente, reso ancora più speciale da uno staff attento e gentile. Le foto? Poche, perché il cibo era troppo buono per aspettare! Il miglior segno di apprezzamento è stato il silenzio di qualche istante, mentre tutti assaporavano ogni boccone con gli occhi chiusi e il sorriso sulle labbra. Pescato è il posto perfetto per chi cerca autenticità, freschezza e la magia del mare servita nel piatto.

11/11/2025: There are places that change with the city, and others that seem to remain suspended in time. La Focaccia belongs to the second category. It's been there for at least thirty years—maybe more—and anyone who grew up in Naples remembers it as it was: the same paintings on the walls, the same counter, the same smell of the oven and the end-of-school smell. Back then, takeout cost a thousand lire, seating for two thousand. And that focaccia was good, simple, made just right. Then the neighborhood boomed, Chiaia becoming the kingdom of little bars, trendy clubs, and cocktails served in jars. But La Focaccia didn't: it never "modernized." Never a restyling, never an investment, never a new chair. And yet, it found itself—unwittingly—in the beating heart of Neapolitan nightlife. A textbook case of urban economics: it found itself "vintage" by chance, earning millions without changing a thing. Today, a focaccia and a beer cost seven euros: madness? Maybe. But in the end, you still come back, because it tastes like memories, like adolescence, like the center of Naples of yesteryear. The previous owner was a simple man, always wearing the same wool pants, never a gentlemanly air, never a whim. Now his children manage the legacy with a bit more attitude—but the place remains the same, identical, as if frozen in a '90s postcard. In short, La Focaccia didn't do anything to become what it is, and yet it succeeded. Pure luck, or unconscious genius. When in doubt, always take a slice.
