09/09/2025: Self-service and a relaxed atmosphere, because it's street food.
The food was excellent: we had calzones, arancini, pizza a portafoglio, and pasta with pancetta and provola cheese. They were simply SUPERLATIVE!!!!
WHEN YOU LEAVE THE POMPEII RUINS, STOP BY ZIO CARMINE FOR HIS FRESHLY MADE DELICACIES.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
I had two trays prepared to take home for dinner.

03/06/2025: The pizza reminded me of an 80s style: the idea of the star shape for the pizza of the same name is interesting, with different flavors on the tips, but the flavor is confusing and the whole thing is too heavy. The dough is hard to digest and deserves more attention. Positive note for the crocchè, good and offered at a really competitive price.

11/01/2026: Nice, well-maintained atmosphere with helpful staff. It's inconceivable that a restaurant like this doesn't stock lactose-free mozzarella these days.
Leaving that aside, you deserve a lawsuit because all your guests were sick due to the poor quality of your food. Never again.
26/10/2025: The atmosphere is elegant and refined. The service is efficient and fairly quick. The pizza is excellent, and the menu offers many interesting flavors. The dough is soft and easy to digest, and the ingredients are high-quality.

03/09/2025: Unforgettable evening, dinner with relatives promises to be an evening of good humor and tranquility. The pizza was supposed to arrive at 9 pm, after half an hour we call and moved it to 9:30 pm, then we call back and we arrived at 10 pm, after several attempts we manage to get an answer, they are for delivery, still nothing arrives, finally at 10:20 pm we have our pizzas, very good but by now the atmosphere is becoming pungent and irritable. We receive an apology for lack of staff, it is September not July or August and on a Wednesday not Saturday, perhaps paying in advance is not a good idea, I'm sorry but you manage to lose customers even if you make good food.
12/07/2025: Excellent, tasty pizza. This place is mainly a takeaway, but the dining room is very nice. Prices are good. Recommended.

19/01/2026: Il Duca is a historic pizzeria that has been completely renovated: modern and elegant interiors, spaces that aren't huge but are well-organized.
The area is well-served: there's no dedicated parking, but you can easily find a spot nearby, even a free one just a few meters away.
Friendly and fast service, and a special mention for the warm welcome they even gave my dog, who was welcomed with joy (that's not a given!).
The pizza is excellent: perhaps just below the absolute best, but we're in Naples... so competing at this level is already a top-notch experience.
Special mention for the "Duca" with cherry tomatoes and spicy sauce, always a guarantee.
The fried foods are also very good, both in quality and variety.

13/03/2025: Ho organizzato un pranzo con le mie amiche in questo ristorante centralissimo nella splendida piazza, difronte alla chiesa di Santa Sofia. Nonostante fossimo in 15 la proprietaria e il suo staff ci hanno offerto un ottimo servizio, veloce, senza lunghe attese nonostante le ordinazioni tutte diverse.
Abbiamo mangiato benissimo sia la carne che il pesce e la signora Susanna ci ha anche omaggiato di una piccola bottiglia di limoncello.
Ci siamo trovate benissimo e soprattutto abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo che ci abbiano dato la possibilità di apparecchiare la tavola personalizzandola con i nostri colori.
Lo consiglio vivamente

18/08/2025: Neapolitan pizzeria with a capital N. There were 5 of us, we had an appetizer, 5 pizzas, 2 draft beers, 5 cokes, 2 waters, 2 meloncelli, a limoncello, and 3 coffees... total 100 euros... a great price... you will find friendliness and professionalism. Try it, they accept credit cards.
