06/09/2025: I've been eating pizza at Evo50 since they opened. I've always found it excellent, and over the years, I've found the dough to be lighter and lighter.
The toppings are exquisite and innovative; you can tell they put a lot of effort into finding top-quality ingredients crafted with great technique.
All this is complemented by excellent and attentive service!
My compliments to the people behind it all.
I highly recommend anyone who's new to this pizzeria to try their pizza at least once!!
Keep it up, success is guaranteed!

29/08/2025: What a lovely find. The pizza is Phenomenal, well priced and served fast and hot. Great dough, excellent range of toppings and friendly staff. Out kids loved it. The menu is found on the table via QR code, but you order normally. Great selection of artisan beers and a table wine that's very Very nice.

21/08/2025: We had a really disappointing experience here. When we first arrived, we stood waiting at the door for around 10 minutes while 3–4 staff members walked past without greeting us or acknowledging us. Once we were finally seated, it took another 15–20 minutes before anyone came to take our order.
When the food eventually arrived, part of it was wrong – I ordered a dish that was supposed to include two burgers, but only one came, and a margarita pizza we had ordered never arrived at all. The food itself was okay, but nothing special, and definitely not worth the wait.
The service was consistently poor and very slow. Our waiter came across as passive-aggressive, and we weren’t the only ones frustrated – nearby tables were also left waiting, with one group sitting for about 15 minutes just to receive menus.
Overall, the ambiance wasn’t great, and the lack of basic service made it a disappointing meal. Wouldn’t recommend unless serious improvements are made

08/08/2025: Lekkere pizza, hier terecht gekomen vanwege drukte aan de overkant. Service was naar onze ervaring wat minder. Obers waren continu, ook tijdens bestelling opnemen, met elkaar aan het discussiëren / ruziën. Kan gebeuren maar niet professioneel en netjes.
Pizza is wel een aanrader hier en niet duur.

29/08/2025: The best pizzas we've ever eaten! A family business that reinterprets Italian tradition and grows and produces all of its own produce! The menu is extensive, everything tastes fantastic, and the restaurant was fully booked every night. We were there for three days and, in typical German style, arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m., which filled up very quickly; there wasn't a single table available, every night!
Pizza dough is also used in the appetizers and desserts. For example, it's deep-fried and served with pistachio cream, incredibly delicious! Or it's crispy arranged in a tomato and mozzarella salad! 😋
Almost every evening, we paid around €50-60 for the two of us, including water and house wine, appetizers, main courses, and desserts – incredibly delicious for this culinary delight! The house wine is also highly recommended!
Thank you for this wonderful experience, we will definitely recommend you.

31/08/2025: This time we were given a table located behind a column with very little space: I had to ask a guest at the next table to stand up so I could leave. Given the quality of the pizzeria and the cost involved, larger table spaces would be needed.

25/07/2025: An excellent culinary experience featuring fresh seafood. The selection of raw fish is excellent, as are the hot and cold appetizers, all carefully prepared and rich in flavor. The first courses also deserve a special mention: we chose the truly exceptional lobster pacchero. The service was prompt, fast, and attentive. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.

20/08/2025: Carmnella—note correctly, without the 'e', which has instead 'bastardized' the vernacular of those who use the name Carminella by distorting it—is one of the oldest pizzerias in Naples.
And this precious antiquity is enhanced by the 'militancy' of Enzo Esposito, the owner, at another very famous and historic Neapolitan pizzeria, the Trianon, where, I remind non-Neapolitans, they serve only two pizzas: the classic Marinara and the Margherita, created, as everyone knows, in honor of King Umberto's wife (who, coming from Saxony, alas for her there, was most likely forced to eat pizza with pineapple, as the Landsknechts who descended from Frankfurt on the capital of the Great Beauty, Naples, reminded us recently, but who returned home with five babàs generously donated by Napoli to their Eintracht).
But let's get to the pizzas, beautifully crafted by Enzo for his Carmnella.
The selection is vast, expertly balanced between the classics (in various versions, to be chosen by the customer) and the new creations of master pizza chef Vincenzo Esposito.
Including some in collaboration with the Amalfi Coast's Michelin-starred chef, Peppe Guida.
Three quintessential ingredients of Neapolitan gastronomic culture reign supreme: escarole, ricotta, and tomato in numerous versions, including the absolute king, 'O Rraù.
The choice is extremely difficult. As I've always advised anyone wanting to understand the quality of a pizza, you should always choose a classic Margherita, and only then, on other occasions, choose another type.
But I couldn't resist the temptation to try two classics, revisited.
A beautiful 'Bucce di Margherita' and an Elena Ferrante ('O rraú ra dummeneca cu a ricotta e 'e purpettele ra nonna').
The very kind and smiling Annalisa was a little horrified by the request (given the combinations of two very different tomato sauces) but she gladly accepted the request, with a smile on her face (and it won't be added to your bill).
The dough was excellent (if you eat a pizza with even the crust, it's a sign that it's very well made), just the right consistency, not heavy, but the ingredients were equally excellent, including some delicious tomatoes.
The very light, almost imperceptible, crunchiness of the crust (certainly not, horror if there was one, (we're not Briatore's style) of the pizza dough) was very pleasing to the palate. Excellent Ragù (strictly capitalized when it's not (as the great Eduardo used to say) carne cu a pummarola) expertly prepared, and meatballs that, if you're Neapolitan, will take you back to Neapolitan Sundays.
Another clever choice that pays homage to Naples is naming the pizzas after great women, daughters of Partenope, Elena Ferrante and Elisabetta Farnese, who married a Bourbon consort and was therefore Neapolitan by adoption.
The very dry fried foods are also excellent, although I've only tried a panzarotto, as we children of Partenope call potato croquettes, and the desserts by Leopoldo (a very famous Neapolitan pastry shop, for non-Neapolitans or those unfamiliar with it).
As Enzo correctly explained, he's a pizza chef, not a pastry chef, so it's a natural choice to rely on a top-notch pastry chef for the desserts.
I highly recommend (as Annalisa, the kind and smiling waitress, recommended to me) the amarena brittle, another dip into a typical Neapolitan delicacy.
And finally, the service and the bill.
Notice the high-rimmed plates and the marble tables (another absolute Neapolitan tradition).
I've already mentioned the kindness and smile of the waitress Annalisa.
All that remains is to analyze the bill.
A little higher than the average for similarly priced establishments, but that's due to the inclusion of one panzarotto and one dessert (both excellent).

12/07/2025: Stunning location with a view of the castle and the entire Ischia Ponte and harbor. The room was spacious enough, there was a lovely pool, and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and included pastries. For dinner, we tried the rabbit, which was superb. The staff were truly kind and helpful, and they truly value what they do. Highly recommended.
