13/03/2025: Ho organizzato un pranzo con le mie amiche in questo ristorante centralissimo nella splendida piazza, difronte alla chiesa di Santa Sofia. Nonostante fossimo in 15 la proprietaria e il suo staff ci hanno offerto un ottimo servizio, veloce, senza lunghe attese nonostante le ordinazioni tutte diverse. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo sia la carne che il pesce e la signora Susanna ci ha anche omaggiato di una piccola bottiglia di limoncello. Ci siamo trovate benissimo e soprattutto abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo che ci abbiano dato la possibilità di apparecchiare la tavola personalizzandola con i nostri colori. Lo consiglio vivamente

17/09/2025: Bar Santa Lucia 1921, Salerno, Italy We had breakfast here every morning during our stay and it was always fresh and delicious. In the evenings, we came back for cocktails which we also really enjoyed. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and the service was great. We highly recommend this place! The bar is connected to a pizzeria, and they serve the best pizza in town!

12/09/2025: The food was excellent. We ordered the seafood pasta and the prawn linguine - both were so delicious! Pasta was cooked perfectly and portions were great. Service was good. I’d definitely come back, thank you for having us!

12/10/2025: We arrived at Ristorante Di Giorgio almost by chance, looking for a quiet place to spend our last hour in Capri before catching the boat. The place was completely empty, but the setting was pleasant and the initial service was decent. It was quite windy that afternoon, so we decided to stay a while and order something light: two pizzas. The menu prices are reasonable for the area—especially considering the view and location—although they charge €4 per cover, which is important to keep in mind. The pizzas had good flavor, thin crust, and were cooked properly—not spectacular, but adequate. What was awkward was the ending: when we got up, the waiter quickly came over to ask if we had left a tip and lifted the napkins to check the table. It was a very awkward gesture, especially since, with a €4 cover charge per person, we assumed the service was included. Despite that detail, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience. The place is quiet, with reasonable prices and good food, but the insistence on tips took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable moment. 💡 Helpful Tips: Check the cover charge before ordering; it's already included in the bill. 09/07/2025: The pizza was excellent (I had a white diavola with chips and try it). The place was nice, the staff were very helpful, kind and even friendly. The idea of ​​the three-liter beer dispenser was nice. Maybe a little, but not too high, the quality/price ratio.

11/06/2025: Two stars for the food only because they make gluten-free pizza for my mom, otherwise avoid them. I told them the flavor of pizza I wanted and they said they wouldn't make it because it sucks (absurd to use that term). I had to insist to have them make the pizza I wanted, luckily I'm not asking for a favor but I'm a paying customer. Update 11/06/25: I'm attaching a photo because it's absurd... PIZZA WITH A HOLE. A miracle keeps this pizzeria open.

24/10/2025: Nice place and good food, pizzas at a very good price would go again for a nice pizza, it’s a place for locals which is always better to go to instead of the usual tourist restaurant. Would come again!

19/10/2025: Best apertivo special 4-7 6 euros for small pizza and spritz. The spritz was delicious and the pizza larger than expected! The pizzas are only 9.5 euros regardless of what type you order. This place is the best value in the city and was so good as well! Definitely check them out! We were literally the only ones in there and ignored by the servers, so that's the only thing I'd say they could improve upon.

02/10/2025: This was the perfect place for my 18th birthday. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were helpful. The dance floor was beautiful, the DJ was very helpful, and the music was really good. The food was exceptional, especially the gluten-free menu, which was well-stocked; the only downside was that the gluten-free pizza wasn't exactly the best.

19/07/2025: Alla chiusura dell’Assemblea degli Stati Generali della Bellezza siamo stati consigliati a pranzare in questo angolo nascosto di una via storica di Cava ed ecco la sorpresa. Accolti da una gentile signora, abbiamo ordinato una frittura di paranza ciascuno, una zuppa di cozze per due persone e la terza ha preso i fusilli freschi con i frutti di mare, con delle buone frittelle di alghe, acqua frizzante. 14/10/2025: The pizza is delicious to eat at the table because it's rolled out more and has a much better texture than takeout, which, having to be packed in cardboard, can't be treated as well. The ingredients are the same, of course, but Neapolitan pizza is a unique dish for this very reason; it's not just the ingredients that make it special, but also the people who make it! The interior is simple, perfect for eating pizza and chatting with friends at the table. In the summer, they set up outdoor tables. The service is good.

11/10/2025: An experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. We were sick during the night. The dough was rubbery and heavy, and the ingredients were unpleasant and tasteless. They need to do something about it, soon.

28/09/2025: Big disappointment, an experience not to be repeated A friend had seen the mussel soup of this restaurant on social media and, according to him, it looked very inviting so we decided to try this restaurant, so we went as a group with great expectations. When ordering, we asked for six mussel soups, but I noticed that in the dishes next to them they were served with tomato. I politely asked if it was possible to have one without, but the waiter's answer was very clear: they don't make changes to the dishes, so if I wanted it, I had to accept it as it was or give it up. A surprising rigidity, never seen elsewhere. I then tried to ask for a first course, but even then I was told that all the first courses are with tomato and that it is not possible to change them. I found myself in difficulty, even a little embarrassed, and in the end I opted for a mussels with pepper and a grilled squid. Shortly after, a member of staff arrives and tells us – rather bluntly – that they no longer had enough ingredients for all the soups ordered, so some had to be eliminated. And they told us "see who among you has to give it up", a moment of absurd embarrassment... all without any apology, any empathy from the staff. And the same speech was repeated at other tables: those who had ordered four could receive two, those who had ordered two would receive one... In short, questionable management, especially considering that it was only 9:30 pm on a weekend. Also bad was the fact that they told us that the mussels had run out because I had asked for the peppered one, so it even seems that it was my fault, but it was more than clear that it couldn't be my fault. My peppered one arrives, quite good. The calamari on the other hand... first forgotten, then served raw inside. I take it back, they bring it back to me cooked only slightly better. In the end I eat it because I'm hungry, but the taste was banal, nothing exceptional. My girlfriend ordered a seafood first course that had a lot of broken shell residue, annoying both to the palate and to chew, not to mention the fact that it could be dangerous. The flavor of the dish was rather flat, lacked salt and left nothing really memorable. Some pizzas ordered at the table were cooked well, but the taste was rather anonymous, nothing that left us wanting to return. The icing on the cake: in the bill we found an extra dish, which never arrived. After an internal discussion, they agreed with us, but even then they did not apologize. What a shame! We understand that there could be confusion, mistakes or moments of pressure, but the total lack of flexibility, insufficient organization and lack of empathy towards the customer made us live an experience that we will not repeat. The images on social media are attractive, but the service and the real quality are not up to par. None of us will return. Look at my photos too, the whole thing seems inviting but a lot of show and little yield. Looking back at my own photos I wonder how this is possible... but unfortunately a photo can't tell us anything about the flavor.

13/10/2025: We came to Pompeii from Rome to see the excavations and booked from Rome after reading the reviews. Six adults and four children all chose different dishes, and we were all pleased with the quality of the dishes we chose.

30/08/2025: A guarantee!!!! We went there one evening with the kids and had a delicious mix of fried foods!!!!! The next evening we got two pizzas and some fried foods for takeout and everything was delicious. The prices were also really great.

19/08/2025: A very bad experience at this restaurant. From the outset, we were given the takeaway menu without ever being told that it wasn't the dine-in menu. When it came time to pay, we were quoted higher prices, those of the dine-in menu, without being informed in advance: a real lack of transparency, which strongly resembles a scam. Besides that, no receipt was provided and payment was only accepted in cash, which is not normal. Communication was complicated because the staff doesn't speak English. We also received our meals at different times, which prevented us from eating together. The beer served wasn't cold. Finally, we were asked to leave the premises at 10:30 pm even though closing time was announced at 11:00 pm. In short, unprofessional service, a disappointing welcome, and a general impression of dishonesty. I highly recommend it.
