The food was average and simply too expensive for what it was. The staff wasn't very friendly. The ambiance is nice, but it's far too noisy. The outdoor seating area is closed when it's 26 degrees Celsius.

21/04/2026: In a time when food quality is increasingly declining and every pizzeria or restaurant I've ever patronized is significantly downgrading their products, "Il Rugantino" has maintained top-quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. I'd particularly like to mention the pizza, which has such a tender dough and such a delicious crust that it makes any other place's pizzas look like the fake ones they use in Hollywood movies that actors pretend to eat. Pasquale is a highly respected man and an honorary Frank Sinatra!
