06/12/2025: 🍕 Pizzeria Bella Mariana - A Neapolitan Christmas Must-Visit Pizzeria Bella Mariana provided the absolute perfect ending to our day! We were completely charmed after shopping along the famous Christmas Lane, and the location of Bella Mariana couldn't have been better—it was exactly where we needed to be to relax and recharge. The atmosphere and vibe are outstanding. It feels authentically Neapolitan, buzzing with warmth and genuine excitement, but still incredibly cozy. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and truly seemed to love what they do. And of course, the pizza was everything you dream of in Naples—fresh, perfectly charred, and absolutely delicious. If you are in Naples, especially after visiting the Christmas markets, this place is a non-negotiable stop!

03/09/2025: I hadn't dined at Borgo since it was renovated, so taking advantage of a quieter late-summer evening, I decided to try it with some friends. The location is very well-maintained, with wooden tables and benches giving way to more modern and elegant furnishings that blend perfectly with the splendid setting of Acciaroli's harbor. The new, fully open kitchen is also very attractive. I really enjoyed the appetizers, both raw and cooked, where I found great respect for the raw ingredients, which remain the protagonist even in the more elaborate dishes. For the first course, I opted for the linguine with prawns, a simple dish but truly excellent in flavor. The desserts also deserve special mention; we tried several, all very good (but if I could have, I would have eaten 12 ricotta flowers!). The value for money was good considering the location, service, and overall quality of the dinner.

12/01/2026: I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. I go to this restaurant's website and find a menu that says they also do takeout or delivery. I call to order a portion of chicken with potatoes (the menu says the chicken weighs about 1 kg and costs 16 euros), but they tell me they don't do delivery and that the menu is out of date (maybe it's time to update it). "To be fair," they inform me that the portion isn't 1 kg but rather a thigh + drumstick +, of course, potatoes, and that the price is 15 euros per portion. Okay, I'll order for pickup. I arrive, pay, and get in the car ready to leave, but I decide to check the portions because the containers seemed small and light... I was right, the portions were indeed very small, and I decide to go back to ask if everything was correct. They tell me those are the correct portions. Obviously, the waiters and cashiers aren't to blame, so I say goodbye and leave. Once I get home, I weigh the chicken and potatoes to be as accurate as possible: Chicken portion 1: 160 g Chicken portion 2: 185 g Single portion of potatoes: 210 g Total cost, including two 33cl Cokes in glass bottles: €36 Honestly, this seems like an ABSURD price. I definitely won't be back! The staff (from what little I saw) seemed polite and friendly.

14/09/2025: Good quality products. Fried food was good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Wagon Wheel pizza was excellent, and the traditional Margherita was good. The potatoes and sausage were good. The Catalan seafood paella was good, but not as excellent as I expected. Maybe next time. The staff was very kind and attentive to their customers' needs.

14/10/2025: Good pizza and reasonable prices. Friendly staff, always ready to accommodate customer requests. Easy parking nearby and outdoor seating. The interior could be improved, making it more suitable for a takeout-only pizzeria.

28/12/2025: A trattoria we discovered by chance, where we return often. The place is spacious and welcoming, with warm vintage colors. The pizza is delicious, topped with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, always attentive to every customer's request, and the prices are truly fair.

27/12/2025: We were passing through on December 27th, 2025, and visited the restaurant. We got a great table next to the fireplace without a reservation, even though the place was already quite busy. The staff were extremely friendly and all spoke perfect English. We felt very comfortable, and the food was simply superb. We paid an unbelievable €29 for two pizzas with an appetizer and three beers. Absolutely fantastic! Grazie!

05/03/2026: What could you possibly expect from a restaurant located in the heart of Pozzuoli, a melting pot of Neapolitans and tourists from all over Italy and perhaps the world? It's not an elitist restaurant, so you have to settle for the culinary offerings and their quality. The first thing you notice upon arrival is the overcrowded outdoor terrace: often, all too often, you end up chatting with the people at the next table. If you're a tourist (which fits the stereotype), it might be fun, but if you're looking for a bit of privacy, this isn't the place for you! Quite the opposite! You might run into (as we did) a super-confident (and wine-fueled) person who takes his latest conquest out to dinner and shouts and screams because he has to let everyone know. If they then spot you and choose you as their conversation partner, they might start telling you how their love story began... the suggestion is to quickly pay the bill and run away: do you want dessert? Coffee? No thanks! You might also (again due to the limited range) witness some truly unpleasant scenes where the restaurant manager (as if he were the owner) rails almost ferociously against the newest member of the restaurant staff for a minor mistake (but the owner is happy). Ultimately, given the high attendance and the fact that it was almost the end of the season, the staff was definitely undercooked. The portions are fair for the price, the dishes are appealing, and after all, being a seaside restaurant, if even the fish dishes aren't good, it wouldn't be so renowned (unjustifiably, in my opinion). The fried fish is quite good when the oil is fresh, but it could be improved: I saw another one arrive at the next table that was overcooked. I must acknowledge the attempt to separate the aperitif area from the dinner area (though it's not always successful), and I can't imagine what would happen otherwise. I would have added half a point to all the options, but Google doesn't allow this.
