16/05/2026: We celebrated my son's 7th birthday. The kids had a blast playing games, and we adults were greeted with a warm welcome, freshly baked pastries, and efficient service. The cashier was courteous, a real plus!
07/05/2026: I think it's the only one in town that offers a large children's area and serves delicious pizza for a relaxing evening. We always have a large number of birthday parties, and the kids have fun in a safe environment.

12/04/2026: Interesting place, rustic yet modern. We had a seafood and rustic appetizer, and it was an appetizer that doubled as dinner, and what a dinner it was!!! A taste of everything that's delicious in Calabria. An excellent tasting experience. Barone Rosso is a place I recommend if you're in Gioiosa Ionica 😃

06/06/2026: I was there for the first time and was truly impressed. I tried the spaghetti with mussels and clams, expertly cooked, flavorful, and with decidedly fresh ingredients.
The highlight is definitely the excellent value for money, which is not a given these days. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service lives up to expectations.
It's officially become a place I'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!

We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! Everything was simply delicious from start to finish!!!

On April 25th, I opted for the brunch buffet. The restaurant was welcoming, the view fantastic, the service excellent, and the food was well-prepared. I would recommend a heated counter, though.
The offer advertised on Facebook included a complimentary bottle of Mare Chiaro wine from Cantine Ippolito. I wasn't served or given a gift. So, I ordered a bottle of Iuzzolini Madre Goccia wine for €27.00, three times the average market price. In all honesty, this seems excessively expensive. Competition from other places and countries is bested with quality, service, transparency, competitiveness, and natural beauty. We have some of these things; for others, the road is still long and winding.

12/05/2026: We ate here twice during our holiday. The staff is always attentive and the pizza is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, as is the Aperol. We never had to wait long. A definite recommendation from us! 👍🍕
11/05/2026: Very nice and friendly staff, helpful with the selection. The drinks (Spritz) were all very good and tasty. We really enjoyed the food; the appetizers and pizza are highly recommended. We spent three hours there and would definitely come back.

24/05/2026: We had lunch here today and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The bread was fresh and delicious, the food arrived quickly and didn't take long: the bruschetta and frese were absolutely delicious with flavorful tomatoes from Belmonte. The lasagna was decent, just average, and the mixed salad was good. The only thing I hadn't quite expected was the grilled vegetables: three huge slices of grilled eggplant and five slices of grilled zucchini. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back.
