I chose Salotto Aragonese to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We were greeted with great warmth by the owners, truly extraordinary people who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Even my children, who are quite fussy eaters, enjoyed the dishes served, a sign of a cuisine capable of conquering even the most discerning palates. The terrace, with its splendid view of the Aragonese Castle, enhances the atmosphere even more, transforming a simple dinner into a truly special experience. We will gladly return every time we visit Le Castella. Highly recommended!

Let's start with the "SPAGHETTI DEL CAVALIERE" pasta, spaghetti with lemon cream, garlic, chili pepper, and shrimp tartare. The pasta itself tasted good, except that both my companion and I felt ill after eating it. We had stomach aches from mid-evening onward, and even a stomachache, so I wouldn't recommend it. As for the second course, the "SPIEDINI DELLO SCHIAVO" (Swordfish skewers with a side of potatoes, served with mayonnaise cream and chopped pistachios. The skewers were very good, as were the side dishes. The only flaw, in my opinion, was that there wasn't enough sauce there, which wasn't very noticeable. My suggestion would be to increase the amount. I also wanted to make a small comment about the location, which is overall nice and offers an excellent view of the sea and the castle. The only flaw is the table setting, which offered paper placemats and napkins. Since it's a place where they mainly eat fish and the prices are modest, I expected a little more elegance.

I enjoyed a pleasant aperitivo at Salotto Aragonese. The location is truly elegant and offers a breathtaking view of the Aragonese Castle of Le Castella, which makes the atmosphere even more special. We ordered two spritzes: a Campari Spritz and a bergamot Spritz. I found the latter a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was a personal choice because I was curious to try it. The service was fast and very attentive. Furthermore, without us asking, they also brought us appetizers to accompany our cocktails: a truly appreciated touch. Considering the quality of the service, the beauty of the venue, and the location, the value for money is excellent. I definitely recommend this place for an aperitivo with a view.

Truly an excellent restaurant. We dined on the terrace, and the view of the castle made the experience even more pleasant and evocative. As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised, as I expected gourmet-style portions, but instead they were decidedly generous. There were two of us, but the portions would have been more than enough for three people. I'll post a few photos, although they may not convey the true extent of the quantity. The service was very attentive. About 45 minutes passed between the first and second courses, which was a bit of a hassle, but in the end, it wasn't a problem: this is a place that invites you to enjoy the evening calmly, without rushing. Otherwise, everything was impeccable. We each had a first course and a second course, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water, spending just under €100. Considering that we ate fish (but they also have meat dishes), the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, and the splendid location overlooking the castle, the value for money is absolutely justified. As for the evening's atmosphere, the discreet background music, relaxing atmosphere, and the view make dinner even more special. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area who wants to spend an evening enjoying good food, relaxation, and a truly breathtaking view, just steps from the sea and the castle.

Beautiful location with a view of the Aragonese castle overlooking the beach. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was a bit disappointing. The seafood first course, the fish ravioli, was a jumble of flavors in which it was difficult to distinguish the flavors and ingredients, perhaps due to the improper use of cream. The fried calamari, however, was good, crispy and golden brown. The quality-price ratio was unbalanced; it's certainly worth it for the location, but if you're expecting "good" food, I think you could find something better.
