22/08/2025: We stopped for lunch today, we had arancini with ragù inside not even a hint of ragù or mozzarella, hard peas and rice with sauce, meatballs! and meat not even mentioning it, just bread. Potato croquettes 🥔 which looked like it too, too bad but I won't set foot in there again

Arriving well after 10 pm, we were greeted with kindness and friendliness by the owner and were served very quickly with the dishes from the kitchen, especially since we had been told we would have a long wait for the pizza. Generous portions, like true Calabrians 😉, and delicious. The house antipasto was delicious and typical, and the rasping pizza was also very tasty. The kindness and helpfulness of everyone truly impressed and captivated us. We will definitely be back for the pizza, which we learned is also made for celiacs by the pizza chef. 21/08/2025: I'm not giving it 5 stars only because I only had one entree, so I don't know what the other courses were like. As for me, I had a very good experience. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was very nice. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return.

16/08/2025: Rustic restaurant located above Civita. The pizza is very good. Among the appetizers, we really liked some items, like the prosciutto and capocollo, but not the others. The service could be a little more friendly, especially from the owner.

16/08/2025: A beautiful place surrounded by greenery and the peace and quiet of the mountains. Located on the mountainside, the restaurant is quaint and welcoming. Excellent food and excellent service. I would definitely return. I highly recommend it, especially for its excellent value.

23/07/2025: I've been going to this pizzeria for years. The pizza, both in terms of dough and quality of toppings, is always exceptional, one of the best in the area. The fries and other items on the menu are also excellent. The place is always kept very clean, even when it's crowded (and it often is; I recommend booking on Thursdays for Saturday night). On the downside, they've been a bit slow to take orders lately, but once you've placed your order, they guarantee prompt service. Another plus is the prices: the menu offers pizzas for all budgets. If you want something delicious, you'll find a pizza for €13, but there are many others that will allow you to dine for two with two pizzas, fries, and a drink for €20.

18/08/2025: Entering through a modest door, you arrive in a room filled with historical objects. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's decision to introduce guests to its spacious and tidy open kitchen and its welcoming staff. You then pass directly into another room and then onto a large terraced garden with tables spaced apart under a ventilated pergola. The staff is courteous, and the atmosphere remains intimate despite the limited space. Excellent freshly caught fish and simple, fresh side dishes. The 5 stars I give aren't just for the quality of the simple, tasty dishes, but for the combination of flavors and well-being you experience when dining at Annibale in the heart of the village, within a garden that never fails to hark back to a time when restaurants were also appreciated for the atmosphere they created, as here in the name of one of history's greatest generals. Stop here for an evening. Robert

17/08/2025: We went for lunch with our 5-year-old son. What can I say...he was delighted! He polished off the vermicelli with clams! We had three first courses, all really good. An excellent, fresh rosé was served in the quiet, well-kept garden. A great experience. The prices were above average, but considering the touristy area and having tried the cuisine at the restaurants near the castle, I can say we were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

19/08/2025: Excellent first courses and exquisite pizzas

03/08/2025: Slow as can be. Almost two hours of waiting for four pizzas, despite the menu having asterisks on everything (everything is frozen), and the owner even dared to respond rudely to our complaints. The food was beyond reproach, mediocre; the tomato sauce on the pizza was sour. I don't understand the positive reviews, which sound like they've eaten somewhere completely different from ours: our experience was among the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. Never again, it's a shame I can't give it 0 stars. Total disappointment.

24/08/2025: First of all, we went there for several days, so we tried a variety of dishes. Everything we ate was excellent, the service impeccable, the waiters extremely helpful, and the owners were very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was informal, family-friendly, and the prices were more than fair. The people were lovely. We can't wait to go back!
