19/10/2025: We discovered La Foce during a stroll through the heart of Scanno, and immediately felt at home. We tried the cazzellitti con le fuoja (a type of pasta) and the sagnette con i fagioli (a type of pasta with beans): extraordinary dishes, prepared with such care and love that you can taste in every bite. Everything is homemade and cooked to order, a true culinary experience!
The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the owners were extremely kind and welcomed us with great warmth. It's clear that a tradition is being carried on here with passion and dedication.
We were delighted and can't wait to return. A must-see for anyone visiting Scanno who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
19/10/2025: Small, family-run restaurant. A few dishes, but very good. Prices are slightly high but acceptable. They might be a bit of a problem if you have a dog and it's not very quiet.

14/02/2026: This bistro has changed location! The owners have opened a new restaurant, "Alle volte," which is decidedly upscale!
02/11/2025: Two of us went yesterday, November 1st. It was packed, but the service was very efficient, with reasonable wait times.
We had tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, guanciale, and saffron, which were truly excellent 🤤😍, and then the Angus steak served on a soapstone, so you could decide how well you want the meat done!
Everything was delicious; I absolutely recommend going there!

11/09/2025: First time I tasted the cuisine of ''La Capannina'' ordered home delivery and it was truly a joy for the eyes and the palate, pupils and taste buds fully satisfied, I ordered a large platter, it was really very abundant, a spectacle of colors and flavors, from the fried pizza to the cacio e ova balls, stracciata and spectacular bruschetta, everything truly exquisite, highly recommended

22/12/2025: It was my first time there. The guys are friendly and approachable. I had a burger and it was good. Worth a try.
08/12/2025: A well-maintained restaurant, ideal for watching the game, as there are almost more screens than tables. Fried food is average, and the sandwiches are tasty, but the ingredients should be better communicated (for example, the fresh chili pepper sandwich, which was extremely spicy). The digital menu is difficult to use, practically impossible to read on a phone compared to other digital menus. There's no division between categories.

22/01/2026: Clean and comfortable rooms, equipped with a mini-fridge and TV, with breakfast included in the room. The staff were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The property has ample parking. Thank you for everything.

The arancini are top notch.
The pizza is delicious.
But the icing on the cake is the owner, a very kind person.
She pampered us and made us feel at home.
If I ever get back to the area, I'll definitely go back.
Oh, I forgot, the price was fantastic.

Homemade products were carefully prepared. Above all, the dishes were generous. Highly recommended, and especially so, we'll definitely be returning. Thank you for everything.
