18/05/2026: Not recommended, and I definitely wouldn't return. The polenta, described on the menu as "mushroom polenta with truffle shavings," was topped with a poor-quality truffle sauce. The chickpea, chestnut, and porcini mushroom soup was made with commercially frozen mushrooms. The truffle shavings and porcini mushrooms were the only two ingredients in the two dishes that could justify a price tag of €16 per dish. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers its customers careful attention to detail and carefully sourced ingredients, this isn't the place to go. We've found better food and cuisine for better prices, and a place worth returning to.
05/05/2026: We showed up just minutes before closing, but they still welcomed us warmly and took our order without hesitation. We only tried the quattro formaggi, and it was so delicious that I’m convinced anything else on the menu would be just as amazing 😍😍❤️❤️❤️🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

19/07/2026: We ordered some gratinated vegetables to go. Fennel, zucchini, and eggplant. Everything was excellent. Fast and friendly service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
14/07/2026: We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes and the courtesy of the waiters.
Everything was so good, we'll definitely return.

15/07/2026: A picturesque mountain cabin with characteristic furnishings.
The atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and mountain-style, not suitable for those seeking a modern, sophisticated, and elegant setting.
Good food (they also do pizza) is typical of the area. Prices are more reasonable (15% less than restaurants in the town center).
Service isn't the fastest, but the manager, Ernesto, goes out of his way to make everything work.
I recommend trying it if you're in Pescasseroli.
06/06/2026: We went to La Baita despite some negative reviews and were thrilled. The atmosphere was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly, and the owners were welcoming and passionate. The dishes were freshly prepared and the grilled meats were truly excellent. A wonderful experience that we will definitely repeat with other friends. For us, it was a very pleasant surprise that deserved much more than some of the reviews suggest. ❤️

29/06/2025: Una comida memorable en Pescacasseroli fue nuestra cena en La Rotonda. Se trata de una pequeña pizzería familiar (muy cerca del Hotel Daniel donde estábamos estacionando), un montón de opciones vegetarianas en el menú, pizzas frescas que salen de un horno de leña, con un servicio amable.
22/02/2025: Piccola pizzeria, ottima pizza cotta nel forno a legna, semplice, servizio veloce.
Purtroppo l ingresso e l esterno poco curati.

31/07/2025: Altro bar carino ed accogliente per trovare ristoro al centro della piazza di Pescasseroli! Tavolini esterni, sotto il
Gazebo danno la possibilità di rilassarsi dopo una passeggiata, ne abbiamo usufruito per la colazione mattutina con caffè e bocconotti al cioccolato 😜
22/07/2025: Tea i 3 o 4 bar al centro di Pescasseroli il bar jurico è da segnalare per l'ottimo servizio. I prezzi sono assolutamente onesti ma il personale è super. Provare per credere. In altri bar del centro ho passato anche un quarto d'ora senza che nessuno si avvicinassi...

21/04/2025: Ci fermiamo per mangiare qualcosa, tutto abbastanza buono, peccato che trovo un pelo nel panino, non mi hanno né proposto di rifarmelo, né levato un euro per lo scontrino. A volte ci si perde per così poco..
