20/06/2025: Convenient adjacent parking. Aesthetically the exterior looks good, the interior, although dated, is equally livable. Pizza dinner. Improved initial frying. Good quality pizzas; to deny the history of the burns, which from what we have seen exist but are to be considered physiological. Very helpful service indeed. Fair price.

01/02/2025: Inconspicuous but concrete pizzeria. Wood-fired oven and delicious pizza, fine and fragrant Roman style. Small spaces and dated environment. If you're looking for a nice place for a first date, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for substance (a pizza, a beer and a crouton) you're in the right place, with honest average prices. On the menu you will also find some good first and second courses.

08/07/2025: We went on a Saturday evening two weeks ago. The place was packed; we had made a reservation and were seated immediately. But despite the kindness of the staff, I must say the quality, and indeed quantity, of the dishes was truly mediocre. The pizza was good, but the grilled meat offered for the modest sum of €20 was truly paltry. One slice of pancetta, two arrosticini, one Norcia-style sausage, and three lamb bones. The meat was overcooked due to the obvious rush to serve so many people. I sent the dish back, but it came back the same one with a bone and a little more meat. After 25 years of frequenting Abruzzo, this was the first time I left the table disappointed.

19/07/2025: A restaurant nestled in a beautiful pine forest with ample parking. Tender arrosticini and uniquely flavorful polenta. Recommended if you're looking for a unique experience.

13/07/2025: Four-cheese polenta and polenta with spare ribs and sausage, both delicious and plentiful. The platter was very generous. The staff were very kind and friendly. The prices were fair. We'll definitely be back.

07/02/2025: Monticchio branch: Closing "00:00", I order a takeaway pizza at 10.15pm for 10.30pm ..answer "we closed the bakery". I point out that on Google the closing time is 00 and twice I get the response "I can't hear you". I hung up on the triple tease. Lazy and ill-mannered.

25/05/2025: Una serata con amici e finiti per la prima volta in questo locale…antipasto la pizza la carne tutto buonissimo però peccato che non fanno la pizza senza glutine…da ritornare sicuramente

29/04/2025: Un'ottima pizza 🍕 quella offerta da La Lanterna. Base ampia e sottile, impasto leggero e digeribile, condimento adeguato. Di qualità anche i dolci 🍮. Bello il locale, comode le sedie e ampi i tavoli tondi. Un'arma a doppio taglio la presenza dell'area cucina e forno ♨️ a vista che rende l'ambiente piacevole d'inverno, caldo d'estate. Bene il servizio, prezzi abbastanza in linea con i tempi; difficile ormai uscire con meno di 30€ anche da una pizzeria (bruschette divise, pizza, birra 🍺 e dolce).
