Historic restaurant in Torre Balfredo. You eat well and homely. The restaurant is on two floors, the one on the ground floor is very typical because the ceiling is vaulted with exposed bricks. The Piedmontese mixed fried food and the aiucche soup are very good. Aiucche is a spontaneous herb found halfway up the hill in the April-May period. The starters are purely Piedmontese as is almost all the cuisine. At the end of the meal you can enjoy excellent cherries 🍒 under grappa or fruit in syrup put away by the owners of the restaurant. It's worth trying. Excellent mushroom dishes cooked in a sublime way, from homemade tagliolini to sautéed mushrooms or breaded and fried ones. In a restaurant you can buy jars with vegetables in oil or fruit in syrup or excellent biscuits. As they say: seeing is believing.

Sono andato a mangiare il Fritto Misto alla Piemontese, era bello caldo, vario come deve essere, con pezzi salati e dolci, servizio gentile e accurato, hanno offerto il bis, vino di qualità, prezzo molto buono. Ci ritorno prossimamente

Pranzo con 20 amici,locale semplice ma molto accogliente,personale squisito,molto gentile e cibo tutto veramente buono...ci tornerò perché mi è proprio piaciuto tanto...BRAVI!!!
