09/12/2025: The best pizza I've had since arriving in Italy.

31/10/2025: Found it on Google, we were passing by and stopped for a quick pizza for lunch. Atomic pizzas, really well made and delicious. The staff are super friendly, and the place is cute. Must try! 2 pizzas and a beer for €20, so top!

21/11/2025: The rooms are old, and the showers are not particularly pleasant, but considering the significance of staying in a historical building and having breakfast and dinner, the all-inclusive package was a good choice. Due to the schedule, I was only able to have dinner one day, but if possible, I would have liked to have dinner twice. The incredibly delicious breakfast is something to be had, and dinner goes without saying. Cannavacciolo was also very nice, and I became an even bigger fan.

19/11/2025: I came especially from England, where I've lived for over 12 years, to celebrate my birthday with my partner at Villa Crespi restaurant, and I can say it was an experience I'll cherish forever. We chose the "Nel Nome del Gusto" tasting menu with wine pairing, and from the first course, it was an extraordinary sensory journey: an explosion of colors, aromas, and flavors that captivated me. Some dishes even transported me back in time, to my beloved grandmother's kitchen—a sweet and intense memory that only high-quality cuisine, crafted with love, can provide. I'm not a food critic or a food influencer; I love cooking, but above all, I love eating well. And I can say with absolute certainty that the quality and freshness of the ingredients were more than evident. Every dish told a story, every bite exuded passion. The location is simply enchanting: the majestic Moorish-style villa overlooking Lake Orta seems like something out of a dream. Every architectural detail, from the Moorish arches to the decorated ceilings, contributes to creating a timeless atmosphere, where elegance and warmth coexist in perfect harmony. The rooms are intimate and refined, meticulously designed, and the garden surrounding the villa conveys a sense of tranquility and absolute beauty. It's a place that speaks to the soul even before the palate. The service was impeccable: the entire staff stood out for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. I felt pampered, welcomed as if by a large family, but with the elegance and discretion that only a special place can offer. Unbeknownst to me, my partner had mentioned in the reservation that it was my birthday and that I'm a big fan of Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo. When they brought me a cake with a candle before dessert, I couldn't help but be moved. A simple yet meaningful gesture, which encapsulates the soul of Villa Crespi: attention, care, and love for the customer. The evening concluded with an unexpected and unforgettable encounter: I had the honor of meeting the Chef. I confess that the emotion was so strong it left me speechless—a true culinary Stendhal syndrome! I couldn't thank him as much as I would have liked, so I hope these words reach him and his wonderful team: thank you for making this experience a dream. Villa Crespi is like a perfect orchestra: each person plays their instrument with passion, and under the direction of a great Maestro, together they create a harmony that envelops and uplifts you. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat anywhere else with the same wonder.

21/10/2025: I'm vegan, and even when I call ahead and they tell me it's okay, I often find a few options, mostly banal ones (vegetable pasta and grilled vegetables). I ate here, from appetizer to dessert, and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back! Fantastic staff.

21/10/2025: The restaurant is very good. The food is quality, and even though it may not seem like it, you'll be full, so it has two Bs: Beautiful and Good. The price seems a bit steep, although in Italy, good food isn't cheap. It costs more than €60 per person with a standard wine, which isn't cheap. It has its own parking lot. I'll be back.

First of all, the intimate atmosphere and the fact that everyone eats the same menu creates a magical, almost homey atmosphere; nevertheless, the service remains excellent, always attentive, kind, and discreet. Not knowing what you'll eat is a real advantage for me; there's no problem choosing, and it adds that touch of curiosity that makes you appreciate the food even more. The quality of the dishes is superb, with a focus on seasonal ingredients, and if I'm not mistaken, I've also read that they use many locally sourced ingredients. As a final treat, the coffee served from a large moka pot brings back a bygone ritual, reminding us that life should be savored slowly. My compliments for the passion you convey, and we'll definitely see you again!

11/12/2025: My husband and I had been wanting to dine on the steamer for a while, and we finally did! The place is simply gorgeous: well-kept, clean, and with a truly special atmosphere. The staff who looked after us was impeccable. We chose to dine à la carte, although a tasting menu is also available. We requested a wine tasting paired with each course and let Emanuel guide us: knowledgeable, passionate, and with a top-quality wine cellar. The wines served came from the Cellagrande winery, a truly remarkable winery. The other people who served us were also exceptional. Sincere compliments to everyone, truly. The cuisine was a delightful surprise: clear flavors, carefully prepared dishes, and the highest quality. The culinary journey is a story that begins in the Aosta Valley and ends in Arona, on Lake Maggiore, and it is evident in every course. We ordered: Appetizer: a tasting of their cheeses and cured meats, accompanied by delicious honey. First course: green leek risotto with mountain fontina, Erbaluce San Michele, and fried leek. Second course: Piedmontese Fassona sirloin with Duchess potatoes, red cabbage, and fontina fondue. Desserts: their gelato with its "amusements" and a Catalan cream made with sheep's milk blue cheese and mustard apple jam. Coffee and delicious digestif. At the end of dinner, they also gave us a complete tour of the steamship: it was fascinating to discover every corner and the history of the vessel. They also told us that it will soon be possible to stay overnight on board, with five rooms available for guests. A new feature that makes the experience even more special! A perfect experience in every way. We will definitely be back!

Gourmet cuisine, local and artisanal products, a blend of flavors that embodies taste and simplicity, history and production. In short, a delightful treat for the palate! During each course, the staff delights with small extras and free tastings (all locally produced)! A delightful lunch on the lake. The staff's professionalism is outstanding, retracing the production process of each product on the table, highlighting its history! The wait times between courses are not rushed; instead, the meal is leisurely, allowing you to carefully savor every single bite! A unique experience, different from the usual! Highly recommended, with the added bonus of suites from New Year's Eve onward! We were delighted, and it's the first place where quality exceeds the price! For anyone spending a day in Arona, a stop at the Piroscafo Lombardo is a must!

Fresh food and excellent options to please every palate, and I'm a food blogger so I'm inclined to go into detail! Just one thing: I'd use a less acidic toma cheese in the pumpkin lasagna. The owners were very kind. At the end, we talked about my book, and perhaps they'll be available for a presentation at the restaurant. I'm here whenever you want... 😉🤩
