11/05/2024: It was renowned for aperitifs, but... since they prepare lunch at midday, no appetizers for aperitifs. Aperitif only in the evening, at midday only industrial chips (I had to ask for breadsticks). Say that aperitifs are only served in the evening or write it nooo! The kitchen is working preparing something right? If I wanted there were stuffed scones (order extra glass of course). 👎👎👎

03/04/2024: Very welcoming place, furnished in an original way... The staff members are always available, kind and friendly... It is certainly one of the best places in Alba to have a good aperitif with a beer or a cocktail... Also open on morning and lunch...

11/06/2024: I have been going to Bar Medea for years, and I must say that unfortunately it has gotten worse over time. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately they are unable to serve all the customers who stop by... not only did I wait a long time to be served, but they managed to serve people who arrived after me first. Unfortunately, I am also highly dissatisfied with coffee and croissants. The coffee has very little aroma. The brioches that were once very good, have changed in the last 2-3 years and only taste like fat. Sin. I don't recommend

15/01/2024: Non fatevi spaventare dalla stella Michelin perchè seppur stellato ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un calice di Dolcetto a 3,50 Euro è assolutamente un costo ragionevole (in qualsiasi altro ristorante meno "pregiato" è solitamente a 5 euro). Anche le porzioni sono adeguate e ovviamente di ottima qualità. Non mi ha fatto impazzire il vitello tonnato che mi sarei aspettata più saporito ma l'insalata russa davvero favolosa ! Locale arredato da vera osteria con i tavoli e le sedie di legno come una volta. Bellissima cantina vini ! Personale non empatico ma professionale. Centrale la location, sotto al portico della piazza ora intitolata a Michele Ferrero.

13/02/2024: Forse le aspettative erano molto molto alte. Il cibo è molto buono e la presentazione dei vini eccellente. Personale simpatico e cordiale insomma ci sanno fare. Se devo muovere un suggerimento a volte i tempi di attesa si dilatano. Il menù è classico alla piemontese e ci sono piatti del giorno particolari.

11/01/2024: Pranzo con amici in settimana. Ottima cantina e ottimo cibo. Tajarin e brasato imperdibili. Atmosfera e servizio da trattoria. Più verso un prodotto da ristorante di medio- alto livello. Prezzi allineati all'offerta in modalità turistica della zona. Da non pranzarci tutti i giorni. In tre persone, tre antipasti, un primo, due secondi, caffè e due bottiglie di vino locali base (garanzia sempre certa) più di 46 euro a persona.

23/07/2024: I was hoping I wouldn't have to write a review after showing up at checkout with some food for thought and constructive criticism. Unfortunately, what for me was a suggestion, for them was an attack and was not taken in any way positively. I find that they have little experience to manage such a place. We stayed two nights and had dinner one evening. Surprise menu. Booked for 18, we end up with 16 seats. Having communicated all the allergies months in advance, they seemed to have vanished into thin air and we had to communicate them again complete with some inappropriate jokes from the waiter. Poor service, they almost ignored us throughout the dinner. Very small portions, it looked like a Michelin star restaurant but it was anything but. Disappointed.
