23/11/2025: Found through Smartbox, the Cascinaborio farmhouse definitely exceeded our expectations.
The rooms are large and spacious, as well as spotlessly clean.
The owners and staff are kind and helpful.
The products are authentic and excellent.
The breakfast is superb!!!

01/03/2026: The pizza was average, nothing special, desserts, desserts and that's it... They don't surprise you. The service was kind but careless; one evening at a table of four, they forgot a plate, a teaspoon in a dessert, and a dessert didn't even arrive!

È un locale ben gestito e pulito e possiede duesale: la prima sala adibita per il bar, mentre la seconda sala per mangiare a pranzo.
Lo staff è gentile e disponibile.

11/01/2026: Dinner was fine, but I wouldn't recommend staying overnight. The room wasn't clean and didn't look like the photos. Breakfast was very basic and unremarkable. You'd expect more from an accommodation with a good kitchen!

A beautiful location in a completely renovated old farmhouse. Modern and refined atmosphere. Enchanting view of the Asti hills.
Excellent dishes, simple but very well prepared.
Excellent service with young, friendly, and refined staff.

03/11/2025: The most wonderful coffee shop. They make cakes and cookies and bread fresh in their own bakery. The staff is always cheerful. It’s a happy place to go and enjoy a moment with friends or alone. They always make you feel at home. I highly recommend it
26/10/2025: Discovered while visiting the castle ruins, this little corner of paradise in the town hall square is where you can indulge in delicious treats. The lady at the counter is incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling. We took a seat at a table, but first we feasted our eyes on the dessert displays. We opted for two cannoli, one chocolate and one pistachio. They were delicious, accompanied by hot chocolate with freshly whipped cream. One of the best in the last 30 years. Try it and believe it, it will be our favorite spot.

Enjoying a lunch that exudes family, affection, and passion is truly priceless. Highly recommended for those who love eating well and feeling welcomed like part of the family.
The set menu is €40 per person; I recommend booking.

22/12/2025: It was very noisy; you had to shout to talk. The pizza tasted like a piadina, and the mozzarella was plastic-like in texture. Service was very slow. First and last time!
14/12/2025: The pizza with friarielli and sausage was very good. However I got the burrata pizza which was okay, but didn’t have much flavor. I also got the gnocchi 4 formaggi which also didn’t really taste like much. Service was quick though. Servers could be have looked a little happier.

Family lunch, some of us chose the tasting menu, others preferred the à la carte menu.
Overall satisfaction for both parties.
Traditional + innovative food.
Dishes cooked with love (you can taste it).
Precise and punctual service.
Adequate portions.
Excellent wine list.
Only one criticism (absolutely constructive) is: the BREADSTICKS!!!!!
In a place like this, in Piedmont, I expect good, artisanal breadsticks. Finding those packaged breadsticks broke my heart.
Otherwise, well done to the cook, and I'll be back!

04/03/2026: My husband and I stumbled upon this trattoria/restaurant by chance, right in the center of Asti, and it truly deserves a special mention. For just €12, you can choose from a wide variety of first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts.
All carefully prepared and served with warmth.
The portions are generous, the dishes are tasty, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
Highly recommended! 🔝🍽️
