11/12/2025: Update, December 6, 2025: We organized a weekend with the sole purpose of returning to the agriturismo, and... what can I say? The company may have changed, but, like last year, Edo and Margherita treated us to delicious food, and we had an unforgettable evening. The only thing I'd add to the review I wrote a year ago is that both Edo and Margherita demonstrate a humanity that's hard to find these days, and if it weren't for the time, I could have continued the conversation for hours. Highly recommended, it's a place that will stay in your heart. See you next year! ------ If you're looking for an agriturismo where you can eat well and spend an evening in a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the two dogs who filled us with enthusiasm, making us immediately feel at home. Edoardo and Margherita were waiting for us at the entrance, welcoming us with a glass of their own wine. Edoardo then began bringing us appetizers, including cured meats, vegetables, and bagna cauda, ​​all truly delicious and seasoned with his charm. Being the only ones in the restaurant that evening, we were able to enjoy it 100%, and if you play along, he'll make for a wonderful evening of laughter and house wine. Once the appetizers were finished, the agnolotti arrived, cooked to perfection by Margherita. By this point, we were already struggling because, given the deliciousness of the dishes, we couldn't leave anything behind. Finally, for the main course, the cheeks arrived, so tender we didn't even need a knife to cut them, and the roast with baked potatoes as a side. After the panna cotta, coffee, and amaro, we lingered for a few more minutes for a pleasant chat with Edoardo and Margherita, before saying goodbye and wishing each other a Happy New Year. We spent €40 per person, and for everything we ate, it's a more than fair price. Thanks again to Edoardo and Margherita; if we ever find ourselves in the area again, it will definitely be a regular stop.

15/06/2025: Great breakfast, although in the late morning there were several pastries to choose from. I tried the cream bombolone and it was very good. I accompanied it with a vegetable cappuccino and the foam was excellent, they served it with a dusting of cocoa which I really appreciated. Very kind barista!

For a delicious breakfast with freshly baked croissants or to savor the experience of master pastry chef Massimo, the third generation of the Zanetti family, your palate will not be disappointed. Among the specialties, the truly superb PROFITEROLES stand out. You'd better make a reservation because they literally sell out! Well, what can I say? 30/12/2025: The place is somewhat reminiscent of the Vulcano café at Un Posto al Sole, which certainly doesn't live up to the food and service standards. For starters, we had a tartare, excellent and generous even if lightly seasoned, and gorgonzola and walnut vol-au-vents, perhaps the least interesting of the selection. For starters, we had risotto and agnolotti. The agnolotti were well-made and seasoned without skimping on butter and sage, but the real surprise was the Barbera risotto, freshly prepared and flavored with braised beef stock or something similar (perhaps brown stock), perfectly cooked and exceptionally flavorful. It's worth a visit for this dish alone. The second course of the day was a strange choice: chicken curry. It must have been excellent, given the chef's skill, but honestly, I expected a more traditional dish. For dessert, we had delightful coconut and mascarpone balls. Good house wine and fast and courteous service, certainly spending less than the overall value of the dinner, if you are in the area do not miss the opportunity to visit the ostu, and try their risotto

22/12/2025: An unexpected discovery. We stopped by chance at this pizzeria al taglio, which a person recommended to us on the street because it was already late to get home and prepare dinner with my wife. We were amazed not only by the family welcome from Pino and his family but also by the exceptional pizza, flaky until the last bite. We also found a varied selection of Piedmontese wines at super fair prices. I recommend the pizza with radicchio, gorgonzola, and lard on the side. My wife is an incredible vegetarian. The owner explained to us that he uses a positioning system that favors the circulation of heat even from the bottom without it touching the bottom of the oven floor. We then finished with an excellent tiramisu and a low Genoese panettone made by his daughter. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Pino and family.

05/06/2025: Wat een fijn restaurant. Fijne, pure producten. Voor mijn vrouw de Vitello tonato en voor mij de verse pasta met ragout. Daarna voor beiden de perfect klaargemaakte tagliata van de grill. Erbij voor beiden een glas Barbera superieure. Na warme chocolade gebak met twee bolletjes fris ijs. Na koffie met een digestief. Bediening zakelijk maar vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom uitstekend adres wat even buiten de stad ligt. Wij zijn hier nog een maand en komen daarin zeker nog terug.
