The Tenuta La Pergola estate is nestled among the green vineyards, making the experience even more immersive. A delicious platter of cured meats, breadsticks, and homemade products will accompany the wines. I recommend it.

11/12/2025: Update, December 6, 2025: We organized a weekend with the sole purpose of returning to the agriturismo, and... what can I say? The company may have changed, but, like last year, Edo and Margherita treated us to delicious food, and we had an unforgettable evening. The only thing I'd add to the review I wrote a year ago is that both Edo and Margherita demonstrate a humanity that's hard to find these days, and if it weren't for the time, I could have continued the conversation for hours. Highly recommended, it's a place that will stay in your heart. See you next year! ------ If you're looking for an agriturismo where you can eat well and spend an evening in a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the two dogs who filled us with enthusiasm, making us immediately feel at home. Edoardo and Margherita were waiting for us at the entrance, welcoming us with a glass of their own wine. Edoardo then began bringing us appetizers, including cured meats, vegetables, and bagna cauda, ​​all truly delicious and seasoned with his charm. Being the only ones in the restaurant that evening, we were able to enjoy it 100%, and if you play along, he'll make for a wonderful evening of laughter and house wine. Once the appetizers were finished, the agnolotti arrived, cooked to perfection by Margherita. By this point, we were already struggling because, given the deliciousness of the dishes, we couldn't leave anything behind. Finally, for the main course, the cheeks arrived, so tender we didn't even need a knife to cut them, and the roast with baked potatoes as a side. After the panna cotta, coffee, and amaro, we lingered for a few more minutes for a pleasant chat with Edoardo and Margherita, before saying goodbye and wishing each other a Happy New Year. We spent €40 per person, and for everything we ate, it's a more than fair price. Thanks again to Edoardo and Margherita; if we ever find ourselves in the area again, it will definitely be a regular stop.

18/04/2026: Visited in April 2026. Enchanting location, clean and comfortable rooms, courteous, friendly, and professional staff, and reasonable prices. Breakfast in the morning was appreciated for its quality and quantity, and in the afternoon we enjoyed a meticulous tasting of wines produced since 1890. In the evening, we dined with great satisfaction for the quality and quantity; the staff was friendly and professional. Afterwards, we made purchases in the well-stocked shop selling local products. A unique experience, worth repeating. Excellent.

18/04/2026: We stayed one night with a Smartbox in April; we were unfortunate enough to sleep in an attic room above the sauna. It was very small, with no bidet, and the bed and pillows were hard. The heater would turn on during the night, and the roar made it impossible to sleep soundly. The shower was very large and had hot water. The dinner was good, using their own products. Breakfast was good, but very basic. The greenery surrounding the agriturismo lacks a relaxation area. The welcome wasn't the warmest; we weren't even told what time breakfast would be next. It's a shame about the room; having stayed in a different room would have completely changed our opinion.

18/05/2026: We discovered this place purely by chance during a pleasant Sunday outing. I must say, the value for money is truly exceptional. The staff was extremely kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. We were very satisfied with our overall experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming place.

24/04/2026: It was supposed to be a signature lunch featuring typical products... with a 70 euro wonderbox... and instead we were served a 15 euro lunch break that was worth two! With very poor quality and not a single iota of typical food!!! I'm sorry to criticize... but it's the first time in 40 years that I've been to Monferrato... that I've eaten so badly!! Also with a reservation 6 days before and the next day... I even had a bit of a stomach ache! ... I didn't complain at the time because I didn't want to ruin my girlfriend's birthday.... I hope it was just a coincidence... But something this disgusting... you can't even do it on purpose!!! Very disappointed and sorry for the bad experience.. I can't help but give terrible publicity! PS. They could at least have served the tasting menu for 30 euros per person... But if the quality is like this... nothing would have changed!!

05/08/2026: I had lunch today with my wife and we were very satisfied. Excellent food, excellent wine, impeccable service, and very kind waitresses who were ready to answer any questions, including explaining the dishes. All this in a wonderful garden under the shade of the trees. I will definitely return and recommend it to all foodies.

26/07/2026: The location is fantastic, right in the city center. Because it was summer, we ate outside in the courtyard, surrounded by trees and greenery. There were plenty of staff who were always attentive. The portions were a little small, but very tasty. We'd gladly come back again.

They were beautifully presented, but I would have appreciated a little more flavor. The octopus leaked, and I didn't like the vegetables that accompanied it. What I enjoyed most was the mixed fried fish: dry, varied, and plentiful. The idea of ​​serving it by the meter was a nice touch. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bill, yes, was a bit steep.
