25/02/2026: We've been coming to Bardolino for many, many years, up to ten times a year. So we really know every restaurant. Given the wide range of options in Bardolino, Casanova wasn't our first choice. Now, at the turn of the year, the lease changed hands. The new owner is Sergio. We've known him for a while from the Tempo bar across the street. Now he's also leased Casanova. A bold move! Naturally, we went to check it out. The restaurant has been attractively renovated, and the restrooms are spotless. The menu is extensive. We found the prices reasonable. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. My wife's octopus from the appetizer menu was enormous—more like a main course, really. The price of €26 for a good Prosecco was perfectly acceptable. We were there for lunch on Valentine's Day, February 14th. If Sergio can maintain this standard, he'll be successful in the market. We'll definitely be back in April. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Fantastic experience at this restaurant. I had the tagliolini with lobster and a Prosecco reduction, and they were truly delicious. I also tried my friend's seafood dish: that, too, received top marks. The service was exceptional. The waiter even opened the lobster for me, a truly appreciated touch. An added bonus: they offer a welcome aperitif and even a amaro/sorbet at the end of the meal. The food was top-notch, and the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend it and will be back soon!

I tasted an elegant, fruity Nikka Pure Malt Red, relatively rare and hard to find due to the shortages that have affected many Japanese producers. Then the owner had me taste his gin, a fitting end to the meal.

From our first meeting, Aurelio was our go-to person: present, reassuring, and extremely helpful. We felt in good hands with him. He organized everything with great professionalism, ensuring we were always safe and accompanied us right up until the big day with truly impeccable service. The entire staff at Le Ali del Frassino was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. The buffet was rich, varied, and of the highest quality, as were all the dishes served: carefully prepared, delicious, and loved by everyone. Our guests still tell us how much they enjoyed their time and how delicious they ate! And then the location... simply wonderful. A place full of emotions, which made everything even more magical. An added bonus for us was being able to experience the location beyond the wedding day: we slept there the night before and on the wedding night, and the bride got ready directly there. Waking up in the wonderful setting of Ali del Frassino is truly something special, an experience we recommend to anyone who chooses this location. 08/03/2026: I tried a pizza at this place: Pros: pizza with a very high crust, large, almost enormous, generous with ingredients (p.s. you have to be very hungry to finish it all), but it lacks a bit of crispiness. Excellent selection from the menu on the tablet. Good service, well done! Very good price. A place just steps from Garda. My/our dog Luna (a Golden Retriever, to give you an idea of ​​its size) was also with me, and she was welcomed with great kindness and care. Advice: make a reservation. Cons: practically nothing.

18/01/2026: We love going there and are regulars. The food, especially the pasta, is delicious, although the portions could be a little bigger. Prices are very reasonable. The ambiance in the small alley has that typical Italian flair, and the service staff is excellent. The older, bald gentleman, in particular, is a sight to behold and our number one waiter on the lake. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are almost essential, especially during the holidays.

30/12/2025: It's a shame I ate the worst burger of my life, because otherwise: a welcoming place, a kind and cheerful owner/manager, and a varied menu. It must have been a slip-up, so I'll try again in the future, hoping for better luck.
