07/07/2026: It was truly a journey of culinary art. I highly recommend visiting this place. In my opinion, it's the only one that serves diners only local, locally sourced fish. The quality and price are modest. Congratulations to the management.

30/06/2026: A genuine family restaurant that may not look like much to the outside world, but which has a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, incredibly tasty and affordable food with a quality that usually costs much more. Also good wines and every other form of drink you can think of. The only problem is that it is located 1407 kilometers from home.

17/05/2026: We were at this restaurant today, Sunday, May 17, 2026. I must say that we discovered a REAL restaurant! Attention to detail, surprising, carefully prepared, and excellent quality food, a wide selection of wines, Cristina and the waiting staff, attentive to every need... 05/08/2026: We enthusiastically returned to this restaurant, which, except for last year, we happily visit when we're in Chioggia. Our expectations were dashed. The appetizers were good, but the linguine with three orgasms had an emulsion that was unpleasant and lacked balance. The mixed seafood grill was drowned in oil, and the tuna chunk was truly paltry compared to the rest. We ordered a sorbet; since it was my birthday dinner, we asked for a candle, which we would have put on ourselves, given the difficulty with the sorbet. They never brought us a lighter, claiming they had just started vaping. We could have just asked colleagues or the kitchen instead of ruining what had been nearly impeccable service until then. On the way out, we learned that they had won the four-restaurant contest, as there's a winners' symbol near the entrance. This likely led to a price increase that isn't justified given the lack of amenities necessary to afford such prices. I'm sorry I didn't find the simplicity that made this place unique. I was disappointed when the owner, sitting at dinner, scolded the staff (with the restaurant full) for not properly serving the only table they should be serving, hers and her friends. It left a feeling of unease, given that for the €200 we spent for two, even the average customer should be considered important.

31/07/2026: We arrived in Chioggia in the evening and it was drizzling lightly. While walking, we stopped to make a reservation at the Bacaro, Baia dei Porci. Excellent food and a professional welcome, with Cristina, who lent me one of her shawl jackets, and the very young Simone, who supported us and put up with our requests all evening, always with a smile! If you're passing through Chioggia and want to eat excellent, super-fresh fish...highly recommended! Ombretta and Ivan

18/05/2026: We went yesterday on a recommendation, and I have to say we had a wonderful time. The location is spectacular, we ate right next to the canal, and the staff was really helpful and attentive (I think it was the owner who looked after us). The food was really good, and the service was quick, even though the place was busy. We were really happy, and I definitely recommend it.

12/05/2026: Excellent experience, very good and fresh fish, friendly and courteous staff. The Manzoni wine was also excellent. An experience worth repeating.

27/06/2026: Had a lovely and pleasant evening here. Fantastic dishes that were excellently prepared. Not an extensive menu here, but everything was good. As it should be in Italy, simple dishes with only the best ingredients. Compliments to the entire team.

08/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. We had dinner for two with a small child. The mixed boiled fish appetizer was delicious, and the raw fish appetizer was excellent. The first course and dessert were also very good. The quality/price ratio was definitely above average. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

01/08/2026: I'm sorry about the 2 stars, there were 6 of us during the fish festival, unfortunately the weather was bad, they weren't prepared for the number of people, they didn't bring us the dishes we requested, forgotten!!! Small quantities!!! They brought me a very small fried food, with frozen fish, with a 4 cm × 4.cm slice of polenta, in some not even that!!! And price, in short,!! The vegetables didn't arrive, for 3 people. In short, I didn't eat!! Never again!!

12/07/2026: Very nice restaurant located a little offside in a narrow alley. Nice staff and very good food. All guests speak Italian which is a good mark. Definitely worth a visit.
