03/08/2025: Anniversary dinner with friends, everything perfect! We had already been there last year and it was a pleasant confirmation. The raw ham and tagliolini with lobster were delicious, the Livorno-style punch is the #1 in the area... we will definitely be back! 😋
02/08/2025: During the walk, once we reach the top of Romito, we descend through the vegetation, and the blue sea remains on our right...on our left, the gates of Paradise!
We are in ecstasy...The Star of the CARRIAGE.

10/07/2025: The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, the owner is very nice, I have never eaten such good seafood carbonara!
05/07/2025: What can I say… if there were a sixth star I would add that too. We were here for dinner and enjoyed a seafood appetizer, two first courses (one with lobster, one with clams), and the fried food. I swear I hoped they would never run out. Friendly staff.

The wait for food is a little longer, so when you are hungry like me, it's a bit of a problem. It's definitely worth coming, the food is phenomenal

28/06/2025: Informal place with fresh and delicious food. Dishes that are always excellent and excellent daily proposals, both fish and non-fish. Prepared on allergens. The outdoor cloister is nice even if not very comfortable and the interior is characteristic. The staff is very cordial and friendly.

We went here being disappointed that the neighbour was full.
However such a nice experience with friendly staff, fast service and good food.
Their initial starter, the chickpea pie, was amazing.
The bread was fluffy and soft with a nice crunch.
The musselsbowl and side of seafood was delightful with good balance.
The pizza with guancale was as filthy as you wanted it to be!
Great atmosphere even though it got very busy.
We went with a 1 year old, and he had a blast and went home with a full stomach

01/08/2025: Scoperto per caso arrivati da Roma ... un polpo eccezionale appena pescato (si sentiva!) ... anche il caciucco alla livornese, che è la tipicità del posto, é come fatto in casa dei pescatori livornesi di una volta !!
Siamo tornati dopo una settimana ... ne vale la pena !
Prezzi un po' troppo alti, ma lo meritano !
Bravi.

02/08/2025: Very generous portions, we had the appetizer of mussels, chickpeas and smoked herring, fried and marinated cod as an appetizer, mezze maniche with octopus ragu, tortelli, tuna, scampi, salmon, grilled octopus and Livorno-style red mullet as a second course, what can I say superlatives especially the tortelli and mezze maniche, 5 liters of wine for 7 people, three sorbets, two Catalan creams and 5 coffees total 35 euros
02/08/2025: Guys, I understand trends... but be careful!
I also understand the playfulness of the hammer and sickle symbol restaurant... but I'd say hygiene has little to do with it! The bathroom is unsightly! It's obvious that the local health authority isn't working in Livorno.
The food is average, but the menu is limited. Ask for some ketchup, and they don't have it. Desserts are just lemon sorbet and coffee cream.
I won't be back.

22/07/2025: The food isn't bad and the price is fair. It's a shame we were in a corner where it was too hot and there was no ventilation. The waiter was very friendly despite the place being very crowded.
19/07/2025: Before a date, I spotted this place online. When I walked past, I briefly wanted to leave, but luckily I changed my mind once inside. I should point out that it's best to make a reservation; people were waiting outside. Very nice place, excellent service, and amazing prices. Parking is easy to find just a few steps away.

02/08/2025: I went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. The decor was vintage, and the white wine was terrible, so much so that as soon as we finished (there were five of us, so we each had a small glass), we had to continue with just water. The food was overall decent, except that the cacciucco, the signature dish, was salty and completely inedible. We skipped dessert to avoid further risk.
19/07/2025: Preso 2 farro di mare che puzzavano e salatissimo non li abbiamo mangiati e la cameriera nonostante glielo abbiamo fatto notare ha detto mi spiace riferirò ‘ , insalata molliccia quasi persa immangiabile , stessa cosa , vino a detta loro si paga al consumo alla cassa neanche ce lo ha chiesto quindi pagata bottiglia x intero consumando e la metà . Alla cassa si paga e dopo gli dico le problematiche e mi risponde mi spiace non ti sia piaciuta . Vergognati e te l’ho detto pure dopo pagata , mai più da voi
