07/07/2024: Un ristorante tradizionale di qualità. Meravigliosa la pasta alla scogliera, il cacciucco e tanti piatti ottimi di pesce. Un’ottima cantina fanno la differenza di questo ristorante di fronte al porto di Livorno.

16/07/2024: The ambience was nice, but the food was a huge disappointment. Mentioned in the Michelin guide, but we failed to understand why. The sushi was dry and falling apart and while the polpo with white beans was quite tasty, it too was dry and the dish was impossible to finish without some kind of dip or sauce. The waiter was unattractive and never came to ask if we wanted another glass of wine why we ate most of the main course with empty glasses (and as mentioned above, the food was dry and would have benefited from an extra drink). Only undisputed good dish was the zucchini flowers. We will not be coming back.

20/08/2024: The food was ok, nothing exceptional but the service was bad. All waiters were grumpy and unfriendly like they didn’t want to work there.

10/08/2024: I was there one evening and waited half an hour to enter. Punctual and discreet service. Venue with rooms on the first floor and a large outdoor area. I ate an excellent plate of fried fish and a sorbet. Even though the place was full, the waiting time was within 20 minutes. For those who want to eat well at moderate prices I recommend it.

30/07/2024: Eravamo 6 persone a cena con prenotazione. Sinteticamente elenco le cose negative: menù scritto su lavagne poste in alto sulle pareti, poco leggibile. Polpo alla piastra quasi bruciato. Ragù di carne salato. La tagliata simile a uno spezzatino e molto dura. L'unica cosa positiva è stata la gentilezza della giovanissima cameriera. Se poi posso dare un consiglio è quello di stappare le bottiglie di vino al tavolo davanti al cliente indipendentemente dalla qualità dello stesso, per un problema di igiene e per dimostrare che il vino è quello scelto dal cliente. Niente a che vedere con L'OTELLO originale.

21/07/2024: Ottima accoglienza, attenzione ai dettagli, ottimo consiglio per la scelta del vino. Tutte le pietanze assaggiate, dagli antipasti (polpo arrostito e alici alla povera) ai primi ( pacchero al tonno fresco con pistacchi) e i secondi ( grigliata di polpo calamari seppioline , spaventata di calanari) Tutto davvero ottimo. Grazie ancora per le premure e le attenzioni dedicate. Torneremo presto!

08/08/2024: Overall I liked the food and the price was quite low. However, the place is dirty and the staff is unprepared. You eat in the garden with the sloping tables. On the wall there are tools left by builders who probably did a renovation. Other people eat outside the restaurant on small terraces and are served from the windows. I would say that a service from "nightmare kitchens" would be very suitable. Strangely, however, there were at least sixty people at the table... perhaps all in all the people who frequent it are satisfied! I went there once and the experience was enough for me.

07/08/2024: Super cute restaurant, cozy terraces, very friendly service. Very quick and attentive. We are a family with children and a dog. Very child and dog friendly. Everything freshly prepared and super tasty. Absolute recommendation 😊

23/08/2023: Good service. We are a party of four. Fish market, but the fish is missing! Menu based on shellfish and anchovies. As for what we had, 2 peppered mussels, without infamy or praise, not very fresh; a poor anchovy, or rather 4 poor anchovies alone; 3 spaghetti with clam sauce, but they forgot the salt and to sauté them. A portion of sword rolls, consisting of only 3 but good sword rolls, a fried squid only, plentiful and good, a fried anchovies and potatoes, good. 2 bottles of white (on paper €18), 3 desserts, 3 ponchos, for a total of €204, then discounted to €200, but the wine magically went to €22 per bottle. To be repeated

22/08/2023: The thing that made me feel bad the most were the appetizers... I'll start by saying that there were 8 of us, having said that I find that €84 for a starter is really excessive for some anchovies style poor, a crouton, some fried anchovies, some mussels and a swordfish carpaccio (packaged)... Given the location in the darkest area of the Venezia neighborhood with the little mice you saw walking. The rest of the dishes are average.

01/08/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant with our family. The environment is very simple, clean, you can even see the sea. The Service was courteous. The food was nothing special... we expected much more considering the prices. A first course €16-18. It wasn't very tasty and the pasta was more than al dente... 36 euros each with two starters, 4 first courses, and a bottle of non-house white wine.

21/04/2024: Cozy but welcoming place, right on the cove. Two fantastic ladies welcome you and make you feel at ease. Dishes made well with delicious products. If they enhanced the terrace with the external tables a little more it would be valued much more.

14/07/2024: Heavy pizza, very slow service (three hours for an appetizer and a pizza) and uncoordinated. Overall very disappointing experience.

17/07/2024: Ho cenato con aspettativa molto alta, in quanto altre volte sono stata molto ma molto soddisfatta. Purtroppo devo dire, e mi spiace, ma spero serva a capire gli errori. Ho iniziato con un antipasto che è sempre spettacolare : fois gras su mela fritta e triglia spadellata. Quella di questa sera non era neanche somigliante. Il fois gras era senza sapore, scuro e molliccio. La mela fritta intrisa da olio che lasciava nel piatto un bagno di olio arancione e in bocca la triglia insapore. Il secondo piatto piuttosto banale: scampo, mazzancollo e totano pieno d'acqua con tre pezzi di spigola e altri due pezzi di altro pesce insipido. Prezzo da aspettarsi, dato che il vino ha tirato il prezzo. Mio marito ha preso lo stesso antipasto. Come primo linguine ai totani con tartufo, tutto molto sciocco, poco condito e come secondo triglia alla livornese, fresca, non c'è che dire, che pareva lessa, sciocca e senza sapore(livornese tanto per dargli un nome) . Spero vi serva a prestare più attenzione. Io comunque ho deciso che in estate è meglio non andare, troppa gente e troppa in cucina. Tornerò in autunno.

18/08/2024: The portion of the self-pickup mutton skewers and beef skewers is like this. The mutton skewers are obviously half less than the beef skewers. The merchant also said that this is normal and the quantity is the same as dining in. Are you kidding me? The foil and duck blood soup were everywhere. Isn’t it too much for a restaurant to use the cheapest takeout box? I didn’t put any cutlery or paper towels. Where is my brain?

09/04/2024: The fried rice was fantastic and there were so many great drinks to select from including the aloe vera drink, the coconut milk and the amazing, Chinese drink milk! It surely is a 5-star restaurant. 😆🤣😍❤️🥰💕🎉😊🥹😍🤠🤡 😂😂👌👌😊😊🎉🎉😍🥰💕
