25/09/2025: The owner has something greedy about him; he asked me to pay for a sun bed although it was extremely cold and the end of the day. He tried to make it sound like it was a good prize but actually he was just ripping me off. I didn’t notice until I was outside on the sunbed that it was way too cold and windy and I would’ve appreciated he would have been honest about it. Or at least give me my money back.

31/08/2025: We were with my mom in July for almost a week, they were very very very kind to us, we ate very well every time we went to the restaurant, the owners are 3 brothers, one kinder and cooler than the other, and they have a very big differential, in addition to their friendliness, you can stay on the beach as long as you want, it's not like other beach resorts where it closes at 6 or 7 pm and they invite you to leave, here you can stay and that's great because if you like to watch the sunset, which is around 9 at night, you can do it, we will return, highly recommended.

19/06/2025: Piacevole ritorno dopo 4 anni in quello che viene considerato il miglior ristorante stellato della costiera degli Etruschi. Qui la materia prima la fa da padrone perché viene trattata secondo i dettami della tradizione. Un plauso anche alla gentilezza e simpatia del personale. Bravi perché da anni con fatica e dedizione siete sempre in vetta.

04/10/2025: I strongly advise against it. They made us sit on uncomfortable benches without cushions, the waiters were extremely slow in serving us, the ham was so salty we sent it back to the kitchen, and the portions were relatively small for the price. Other customers that evening were clearly complaining about the service and the slowness of bringing the bill.

14/09/2025: Tratoria Tre Stelle aptly named to reflect its rating. Very pleasant atmosphere on the road terrace but failed to follow through with our meal - a bowl of gnocchi with scampi. The gnocchi was served way too hot not to have been nuked into a mush. The taste was lost after the first mouthful as the rest of the meal was spent icing your palate. Service was inviting with a gentle charm. Pity but the hospitality industry is such that you only get one chance to entice your clients back.

10/09/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance during a business trip. The pizza was undercooked and the dough was nothing special, nothing like "real" Neapolitan pizza. But the worst part was that after a terrible meal, only at checkout was I told they don't accept electronic payments, only cash. I therefore had to pay for the dinner out of pocket, because untraceable payments are not reimbursed by the company.

25/05/2025: I'm considering a home delivery of five pizzas (three with tomato sauce and two without) from this place, which was a few hundred meters from my apartment. Delivery was almost on time, but the pizzas arrived cold, probably because they weren't in the lunchbox. The pizzas were full of liquid, which leaked out during delivery, soaking the boxes and the pizza base. The tomato sauce tasted excessively sweet, so much so that it could have been confused with ketchup. Of the pizzas I ordered, the only ones I'd save were the white-based ones.

14/11/2025: I need to update the restaurant's opening hours. I went to the restaurant on Friday, November 14th. Google Maps said it was open, but upon arrival, I found everything dark. The number was clear, and they responded to my question if they were open. The answer was a terse no, and they hung up in less than a second, maybe a tenth of a second. Well, I can't review the food, but based on how they responded to my call, I definitely won't be returning.

From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere was palpable, typical of establishments where attentive service is a priority. From appetizers to dessert, every dish was a pleasant surprise: fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and generous portions. You could sense the passion of those working in the kitchen and their dedication to maintaining high quality in every course. The staff was also immediately friendly and attentive, always available for a chat and to recommend the best dishes of the day. We had such a great time that we decided to return for a very special occasion: our baby's reception, with about 50 guests. Organizing an event like this is never easy, but the Taverna del Grillo staff demonstrated impeccable professionalism. From the first contact to the day of the reception, everything was handled with professionalism, precision, and great availability. The waiters were incredibly kind before, during, and after the event, always ready to accommodate any request with a smile and a truly rare level of care. A special thanks goes to Rachele, who oversaw the entire organization with expertise, attention, and infinite patience. Thanks to her and the entire team, we and our guests had a perfect time, appreciated by all. For the quality of the food, the kindness of the staff, and the excellent organization, Taverna del Grillo truly deserves a special mention. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they can feel at home, pampered, and served with professionalism. We will definitely be back!
