18/06/2025: The food is good and the people are welcoming and kind.

20/04/2025: We went one evening in April based on the reviews. I thought it was an excellent restaurant but I think unfortunately a lot of people don't know how to eat. We enter and I already understand that it will be like a nightmare kitchen. Meanwhile, no one greets us. He makes us sit at a table with a dilapidated menu from the 80s, untidy waitresses who are not very attentive and not even with a smile. We take a sautéed lobster dish. Inedible spaghetti not cooked well with no flavour, no taste at all, total disappointment plus I think the lobster was frozen. I pay and I leave with the bitterness that I will never come back, and even when we are about to leave not even a greeting And as the good cavanacciulo says ADDIOS

01/05/2025: Andare da Massimo è un po' come approdare al solito porto sicuro. Il locale è accogliente nella sua semplicità e trovo la sua pizza sottile decisamente buona. Il titolare, apparentemente burbero, in realtà è molto attento ai desideri del cliente. Prezzi ragionevoli.

20/04/2025: If you are looking for a no-frills restaurant but with simple dishes cooked in an excellent manner, this is for you. Excellent quality/price ratio. I had a really good Easter lunch.

11/05/2025: The wait staff was very kind. In fact, I was very sorry because the food was really bad. We ordered two spaghetti with seafood, they arrived after 4 minutes of the clock, the pasta was pre-cooked and the fish was frozen or certainly not fresh. The pasta portion was really small and the plate was full of empty shells. We had also ordered a fry and a side dish but we asked to cancel the order and left, we had lost the desire. Cost €40. Absolutely not recommended.

12/06/2025: Gutes Preisleistungs-Verhältnis, mehrheitlich Gerichte mit Fisch oder anderen Meerestieren. Alles etwas älter, aber sehr gemütliches Ambiente im begrünten Garten und gastfreundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Viele Einheimische (Stamm-?)Gäste, was doch immer ein gutes Zeichen ist. Adresse bei Tripadvisor war nicht korrekt, wir mussten uns durchfragen. Der Eingang zum Restaurant ist über den begrünten Fussgängerweg an der: Viale della Repubblica 200 57023 Cecina LI

15/05/2025: This is a true “expensive and absolutely worth it” experience. All of the food delicious and creative—the chef her is an artist with amazing depth and thoughtfulness. Even the apparently simple dishes are memorable. The service is exceptional, and the waiter makes great recommendations on a routine basis. A fantastic place to relax after a busy day in Florence. Reservations are necessary, as they are also mindful of their food planning each night, but the online reservation process is easy.

01/05/2025: Abbiamo preferito l'ottima cucina senese, a base di carne e pasta fatta in casa a mano, al menu di pesce, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: i piatti, molto curati ed appetitosi, di grande qualità, serviti con attenzione, sono stati tutti molto piacevoli. Il locale, di lunga tradizione, è molto piacevole.

14/06/2025: This seafood restaurant offers a very welcoming and well-furnished environment, which invites you to have a pleasant evening. A little tip: I recommend slightly increasing the air conditioning, because during the meal the heat was felt, compromising the comfort a bit. The menu is mainly seafood, with a limited selection of appetizers, first courses and second courses. This approach, with few but carefully prepared dishes, is an aspect that I appreciate a lot, as it usually means greater attention and quality in the preparation. We ordered three seafood risottos, one baked fish and two fried foods. The risottos were exquisite, both for the perfect cooking of the rice and for the quality of the ingredients; a true explosion of flavors that won us over. The fried foods were also very good. The sore point was unfortunately the baked fish. I had asked for it to be boned, and I was served a dish with three or four fillets that were really small and, unfortunately, lacking the quality that one would expect. Without wanting to judge, the texture and flavor did not do justice to the fresh fish I expected. I would have liked to see it whole and then deboned at the table, as in other restaurants, to appreciate its freshness and integrity. Despite the disappointment with the baked fish, I did not want to penalize the score excessively because, for the rest, the experience was positive. The risottos were excellent and the service was very attentive and friendly. The prices were absolutely in line with the overall offer. Overall, a restaurant with great potential and outstanding dishes, but with a small slip in the quality of the baked fish which, in a place like this, should be impeccable.

22/11/2024: Very kind staff, fixed menu at a great price, excellent food and wine quality, super value for money. What more could you ask for? I stop every now and then when I pass by on my motorbike for an excellent lunch. I recommend it.

09/06/2025: Monday lunch, 15 people in total so I would say not crowded at all. We order 1 linguina allo scoglio and 1 seafood rice. The linguina arrives after 30 minutes for the rice instead we waited about 45 minutes. During the wait, between one dish and the other the cook comes out of the kitchen who probably realizing the mistake made brings back the linguina so it doesn't get cold. So difficult to bring them together? I can understand that the rice takes more, then send them together immediately so as not to make a fool of ourselves. The problem of the wait would still have remained but at least we would have eaten together right away. First courses cost €15 and honestly, the frozen fish preparation and the overcooked rice, no thanks. Really nice place, shame about the staff. We are really sorry, to see places with so much potential but not exploited to the best of their ability. Next time we will change the bathroom.
