22/02/2025: I ate at this restaurant in January on my birthday, and it was a happy choice. The dishes are prepared with care, between classic and originality, explained competently by the owner. I ate land dishes but the restaurant also offers fish-based dishes. When I return to Grosseto it will be my go-to place to try other dishes

16/02/2025: Locale bello e curato, cibo ottimo, ma porzioni, in particolar modo dei pici, di certo non generose (dopo antipasto, primo e dolce, sono uscito con la fame). In questo periodo i tavoli a ridosso della porta d'ingresso non sono piacevoli. Servizio attento e prezzo giusto.

29/01/2025: Outdoor location to enjoy during the day or in summer, very green and welcoming. The restaurant is also beautiful inside, but certainly ordinary. Excellent selection of fish and meat, on some days you can also choose very particular typical Tuscan dishes which are often not easy to find around. Excellent more for a romantic evening than for a large group!

23/02/2025: Happened by chance while we were wandering around Cortona..incredible town for its views!!..we hadn't booked..and it was Saturday evening!! But the owner, an exquisite person, still made us sit in comfortable armchairs and from there we were able to order our dishes. My steak with porcini mushrooms was... DIVINE!!! not to mention the local oil that they paired with us. Excellent raw materials. Elegant and refined environment Excellent service

30/01/2025: Ottimo ristorante, vale la stella Michelin. Tutto veramente ottimo, ben curato e ben presentato. Ottimi pane, grissini e focaccia di loro produzione. Particolarmente gradita la piccola pasticceria finale, una delle migliori che abbia assaggiato nei vari ristoranti consigliati da Michelin. Personale molto cortese. Prezzo in linea con i ristoranti italiani che hanno ricevuto questo riconoscimento . Torneremo sicuramente.

08/01/2025: La classe indiscussa di Lorenzo è qualcosa di davvero inimitabile. La giovane ed esperta brigata di sala ci ha fatto accomodare in un tavolo ampio e comodo, il sommelier ci ha consigliato un ottimo chardonnay della Borgogna, lo chef Gioacchino ha realizzato un menù degustazione squisito...difficile chiedere di più. Grande rapporto qualità/prezzo, considerando l'esclusività di ogni elemento della cena. Bravissimi!!!

10/02/2025: On Sunday evening my wife and I tried this renowned restaurant. The positive impressions begin immediately, large and well-kept private parking with valet; nice comfort! The ancient structure, inside there is a spring with an old mill, is expertly made modern and welcoming. Excellent welcome! Compliments! The menu is discussed at the table with the very dynamic and proactive chef, between personal preferences and a bit of stimulus to delve into new and original flavours. I personally really appreciated it! The quality of the raw materials and the mastery in composing the dishes are beyond question. Everything exceptional! Excellent wine list. I highly recommend it. Small tip: book in advance.

22/10/2024: We had dinner in this beautiful restaurant by the sea, the environment was as refined as the service and the dishes served. They bring you the entrée and the small meliga before dessert, the staff are in uniform and the environment has soft lights and a relaxing atmosphere. We were delighted at the first taste of the crouton with Cantabrian anchovies followed by an incredible tuna tartare! We ordered the first course by copying the neighbors, but luckily for us we didn't explain ourselves well to the waiter and we received a plate of spaghetti with squid ink and burrata with mussels and cherry tomatoes which we thanked heaven for the misunderstanding because they were sublime! We then had the mackerel and the sea bass, I honestly didn't expect my mackerel to be so tasty, but it exceeded all expectations and the sea bass with vegetables was also really excellent. We were full, but we couldn't resist the tiramisu... stratospheric! Special thanks to Emanuele who was super professional and very nice! We found the price absolutely adequate for the entire experience, in line with the level of the restaurant and definitely in the average of the island, naturally referring to restaurants of the same level or even lower level, the Da Piero restaurant stands out, so absolutely 🔝

16/03/2025: A 5-star lunch. We came to this restaurant for lunch and the first thing that strikes you is definitely the fresh fish counter as soon as you enter, a beautiful variety of fish that tickles the palate. The girl at the counter was very kind and friendly with our two children. They had reserved a table for us in the adjacent room in a convenient position even for the child's seat. We had the raw molluscs, a real delicacy for raw fish lovers like me, very fresh fish well presented! The waitress who served us was very kind and immediately took care of serving the children. For the first course, two spaghetti with sea urchin mayonnaise, well what can I say, a delicate and refined taste. Second course, a nice San Pietro all'isolana, excellent. French sparkling rosé wine recommended by the sommelier, a perfect combination. To finish, two Livorno-style punches (and how could we not end on a high note?) Five stars for the restaurant, the cuisine, and all the staff who set in motion a theater of fresh delicacies.

06/03/2025: Week end lungo in direzione Pistoia con la mia compagna e venendo a conoscenza di questo viaggio da Roma, mio figlio mi fa...devi assolutamente andare da Guinceri...è una esperienza! Mai consiglio e commento fu più veritiero!! Mi aveva anticipato che il luogo non è di "taglio" economico e/o medio ma come riportato nella scelta del titolo, laddove possibile questi luoghi vanno visitati, gustati e goduti a 360 gradi. La location intesa come locale è molto affascinante ed arredata con gran gusto al punto tale che chiudendo gli occhi ed affacciandomi alle finestre, non mi sarei sorpreso di trovarmi in contesti tipo St. Moritz, Courmayer o Cortina (forse perchè in parte mi sono sentito in uno chalet moderno). Oltre all'accoglienza del personale, trovo sempre di alto gradimento il saluto del proprietario che, come in questo caso, è passato in ogni singolo tavolo. L'esperienza si è basata in gran parte sulla presenza del tartufo che sia sugli antipasti che carni, è stato un perfetto abbinamento legato alle materie prima di altissima qualità (comprso il vino)! Come mia abitudine prima di andare in un locale, leggo le recensioni (anche se non sono mai una bibbia) e mi hanno incuriosito quelle negative che miravano soprattutto ai prezzi alti. Ripeto la mia opinione già espressa in situazione simili...per delle occasioni speciali o coccole extra come le chiamo io, esperienze di questo genere che ti portano a spendere quasi 100 euro a testa, ci possono stare perchè nel prezzo concorrono tanti fattori che molti clienti, non sanno o fanno finta di non sapere. Per fortuna l'Italia è piena di luoghi dove è possibile pranzare dai 30/35 € a salire... Quindi si sceglie, perchè nessuno punta pistole alla testa di nessun cliente! Quindi complimenti a tutti, dalla proprietà all'intero staff, aggiungendo una piccola nota a margine che sicuramente nel mio caso sarà sfuggita, avendo chiacchierato molto con il cameriere durante il nostro pranzo. Ho pagato ricevendo il dettaglio del conto, solo post pagamento. Forse colpa mia perchè sono andato direttamente in cassa? Non lo so e non ha rovinato assolutamente questa bellissima esperienza che ho goduto con la mia compagna. Daje sempre...

22/02/2025: Piatti particolari e di una qualità ottima. Abbiamo preso due primi di pesce freschissimi e con un sapore unico. I dolci sono diversi dai soliti dolci che trovi in altri ristoranti: ottimi anche quelli, un'esplosione di sapori. Lo staff è cordiale e disponibile. Un'esperienza da rifare.

17/02/2025: Stavo cercando un ristorante diverso dai soliti ,e guardando tra le varie recensioni l occhio è caduto su questo .Infatti le ottime recensioni mi hanno fatto capire che era il locale giusto. Aspettative completamente rispettate. Locale particolarmente intimo con ottima apparecchiatura ,ottimo servizio e con portante ben presentate e molto buone. Il prezzo giusto considerando il locale e cosa ti viene servito ,che può variare a secondo di cosa si vuole bere. Quindi in conclusione se qualcuno cerca un locale per un occasione particolare oppure per assaporare cibi sia di pesce che di carne buoni e con accostamenti particolari può senza indugiare prenotare alla Fascina. Veramente consigliato .

08/03/2025: We found this place by chance and luckily they had a table available without having booked. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, the place was small but welcoming. Two of us tasted the appetizers: cabbage roll with sausage and potato pie with pecorino and speck, the first courses: pici with Tuscan sauce and porcini and speck lasagne, the desserts: tiramisu and Nutella log with ice cream. All very good at a decidedly honest price.
