18/10/2025: This restaurant, besides being beautiful, also offers excellent food, including the pizza (with tuna and red onion), one of the best I've ever had. We went there three nights in a row because we had such a great time. The food was meticulously prepared with all the delicacies of Pantelleria, those toasted capers are unforgettable, and the wines were amazing. The staff were professional, attentive, and fast (this doesn't mean they're surly, indifferent, or anything else, as some reviews have suggested, written by people who have no idea how tiring and demanding this job can be, especially at certain times of the year). We were also surprised to learn that none of them were the owner, but all employees—this shows how much interest and love they put into their work. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the beautiful ladies who served us, especially the lady who took us to visit the wonderful outdoor garden. We never imagined such beauty... and those who were behind the scenes (the ones you never see but are the backbone of the restaurant, the chefs. I only glimpsed a handsome, rasta-haired guy). Thank you all so much for helping to make our vacation so delightful. YOU ARE FANTASTIC. CONGRATULATIONS. HAPPY LIFE TO ALL.

14/10/2025: Quality dishes, a quaint restaurant with an internal garden. It's a shame they don't have a smoking ban. Every time the waiters open the door, smoke fills the room.

04/04/2026: Good pizza, medium-thick and crispy dough. Wide selection of flavors, from classic to "special." The pizza is served already cut into small squares. Excellent gluten-free pizza base!

15/03/2026: We waited two hours at a table for a pizza that wasn't a pizza at all, but a salty brick. It's bordering on indecent: terrible management, ditto the service, and even high prices. Definitely go elsewhere! Highly not recommended.

12/03/2026: We came from Palermo specifically to eat oysters at this restaurant, only to find it closed at 1:30 PM. If the owner didn't want to open, he could have at least called us. We drove an hour and a half to get here, only to end up on a pointless journey. It's a rural area; there's no need to make a special trip. It's not worth it, and the staff is rude. I hope anyone reading this review avoids this restaurant.

05/05/2026: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that truly showcase the best of Sicilian cuisine. Every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place for both a relaxed meal and a special occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire visit. If you’re in Marsala, Ristorante da Saro is definitely worth visiting. A true 5-star experience that I would happily return to again!

21/02/2026: The rooms were very dirty, especially the damp ceiling. The showers were awful, and the fridge was full of candy wrappers (very dirty on the outside, but I don't know what the inside was like because I didn't open it).

06/01/2026: Good restaurant with parking, and the pizza is also delicious. We had a super good tabisca. Plenty of parking. Super reasonable price. All without too much of a wait. Beautiful, good, affordable, fast, and honest. Not like some trattorias that force customers to order a tourist menu for the whole table, like a "solo trattoria" in Marinella does. (A scam.) Truly, congratulations on everything 💯

12/04/2026: Upon arrival, we immediately felt rushed. We'd barely sat down when the waiter asked us if we wanted pizza or pasta… even though we hadn't looked at the menu yet. What's more, the restaurant was practically empty, so there was no reason for them to pressure us. We could tell they didn't want to serve lunch and just wanted to go home. Then, they forgot our drinks, and the waiter came three times to ask if we'd finished, even though our plates were still half full. In short, don't go there and just keep walking. The pizzas are okay, but you're not missing anything.

16/03/2026: Truly excellent restaurant! Delicious and carefully prepared dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. A huge compliment to the owner for her kindness and passion for her work. We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: A beautiful, elevated restaurant with a wonderful panoramic view of the sea. The food tasted wonderfully fresh, was attractively presented, and aromatically seasoned. All the drinks, especially the wine, were excellent. The setting was appealing and uniquely designed. The value for money was very good. We would love to come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

03/05/2026: One star is far too generous. The only nice thing about it is the view. The antipasti was okay. The pizza was overloaded. The service was a disaster. And the price was way too high!

04/03/2025: In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in the area. We spent a week on vacation and went there three times. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The service is perfect, and the staff is always ready to offer excellent advice on what to order. Generous portions. I recommend the raw fish because it's sublime. Excellent value. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.
