12/04/2026: A wonderful culinary experience outside the city that led us to this restaurant in the center of Mazara. The experience begins with the striking marine-themed paintings featuring fish. The restaurant is modern and welcoming, with two very kind ladies in the dining room who know how to best advise you. We chose the tasting menu and a plate of busiate pasta accompanied by a grecanico from the Arini winery. The flavors were very pleasant and balanced. Finally, a spoon dessert and a "muccunetto" (a type of mussel), both excellent, rounded out the meal. The restaurant offers a limited selection, but all of them are of high quality. Another added bonus is the organic Nocellara olive oil served at the table, which complements the flavors of the dishes. In all honesty, I would have preferred the Italian mussels on the tasting menu, which are much softer and tastier than the Spanish ones. For two, we paid €94, which was well spent!

05/04/2026: The atmosphere is a bit drab (I should say brown, wood everywhere). Old movie posters on the walls, although the place aims to be quite formal and elegant; the aesthetic result remains mediocre. The table setting is classic and elegant. The food is exquisite. Seafood couscous, hot fish appetizer, bucatini alla Bettola (shrimp, octopus, artichokes, and salted ricotta; top notch). Everything is excellent!

21/04/2026: Spectacular pizzeria. Delicious pizza with a wide variety of flavors. The menu features meat and fish first and second courses. We really enjoyed the seared tuna. Recommended.
14/04/2026: The pizza was good. Aside from a few burns, which is understandable. Everything else was just okay. The only drawback was the drafts.

12/03/2026: We came from Palermo specifically to eat oysters at this restaurant, only to find it closed at 1:30 PM. If the owner didn't want to open, he could have at least called us. We drove an hour and a half to get here, only to end up on a pointless journey. It's a rural area; there's no need to make a special trip. It's not worth it, and the staff is rude. I hope anyone reading this review avoids this restaurant.

22/08/2024: Servizio pessimo e qualità dei cibi scadenti.
Frittura di pesce con olio che puzzava.
Pesce congelato.
Unica nota positiva la locazione direttamente sul.mare.
16/08/2024: Per la prima volta in 40 anni ho discusso con il cuoco/titolare, la moglie cameriera e il padre anziano. Nel crudo hanno inserito 3 pseudo tartare di gambero misto con mirtilli e papaya dove il sapore del pesce non si sentiva lontanamente. La sarda alla beccafico spero che fosse soltanto di qualche giorno perché il sapore era immangiabile. Il top è stato raggiunto con gli spaghetti all'aragosta, dove il furbone del cuoco non ha avuto neanche l'accortezza di nascondere i piccoli gamberetti che compongono il sugo. I gamberetti sono quelli surgelati e nel menù non è riportato prodotto surgelato. Ad una problematica relativa alla cena il cameriere ci ha risposto: "E io che vi faccio?"
Sono anni che vengo in Sicilia ma qui abbiamo toccato il fondo.

15/11/2024: Eines der besten Fischrestaurants überhaupt. Die Tagesempfehlungen der sehr netten und kompetenten Chefin waren super. Schon die Vorspeisen Mare crudo waren ein Traum, und der in Salzkruste gebratene Red Snapper war einfach sensationell. Schön auch die Stimmung am alten Hafen.

Ha tavoli all’aperto e ogni singolo tavolo è composto da ceramiche molto tipiche …
Ottima scelta di vini… la lista è un vero e proprio libro

Costo medio sui 40/60 euro a testa dipende da vino e cosa prendete , ma il rapporto qualità / prezzo è più che corretto …

Negativo : prezzi molto diversi da quanto da voi indicato …non meno di 60 € a testa
Molto negativo: il servizio totalmente privo di sicilianita’ freddo e preferenze a tavoli numerosi
Per avere il conto io e mia moglie abbiamo aspettato 40’ e poi siamo andati di persona a pagare
Peccato perché un po’ di calore in più renderebbe il tutto perfetto
E poi le musiche da tagliarsi le vene !! Di una tristezza contagiosa
