Whenever I bring friends to eat they are always satisfied. Excellent choice also for the wine list. At the end of the meal you can't help but enjoy the freshly prepared fresh ricotta raviolines, all accompanied by top spirits. 7 spices a guarantee

03/04/2024: We were encouraged to book this place for a dinner by good reviews however sadly it turned out to be a big disappointment. The only good think was the waitress’s service who tried to keep up alone with all orders. Given the fact that we were in Italian place, food was far from being acceptable, you can find cheap positions but even the more expensive positions don’t meet expectations. We paid 100 EUR for a really disappointing dinner, we didn’t have much expectations but surprisingly the standard was way lower than advised on google or TripAdvisor. Please keep in mind that if you want to have decent food, it’s not the place.

Very fresh fish, delicious homemade pasta, great choice of wines, dream atmosphere and extraordinary service thanks to the very sweet and competent owner. The desserts are also absolutely recommended. Value for money - price more than correct. Very good!

04/04/2024: Overall, we had an OK (on the level of a Michelin star restaurant) experience at this restaurant. We had the meat 5-course tasting menu. The first amuse bouche was excellent: a “fake” oliver with lots of aromas inside. The following two dishes (egg with truffle, artichoke) were nothing special and even lacked some flavour. The Primo pasta dish was very good, as well as the Secondo main dish, although not much can go wrong with the goulash-type of sauce for this kind of dish. The dessert, cannoli with ice cream, was very good but again, lacked a bit of creativity for a michelin star restaurant.The service was so-so: they first couldnt find our reservation and had to spell out the name twice; they seem to have never heard of sharing one wine pairing menu with two (1/2 a glass each), as we are moderate drinkers, which is very common for this level of restaurants; and at the end they forgot to pass by to ask if we wanted any coffee or tea, so we just paid and left.

03/04/2024: Amy wife and I went on the off season so it was easy to get a mid-week table. The food was traditional Sicilian food done to an exceptional level with a bit of theatre built in. The service was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant especially for privacy, I have marked it down purely on personal preference for a more active environment.

02/04/2024: When I read "you eat very well" I realize that many people don't understand anything about food and that they certainly only eat sandwiches. A wild boar ragù which was a horrible watered down sauce, at an absurd price and a mixed roast which was just hilarious. For two first courses (inedible), two second courses, a small coke and one of water €60.00🤦‍♀️ P.S Hire more staff when you have everything booked, which if they are paid well is available, I assure you. The guys in the room (2) were destroyed but still good. Congratulations only to you.

01/04/2024: On the advice of friends, I booked this place for Easter Monday lunch... We ordered ravioli with wild boar ragù and we received 4 ravioli with a very watery sauce and a meatball on top. All tasteless. We ask the guy in the restaurant, who is really kind, for explanations, we point out that that dish based on sauce and water is not worth the price they ask but that above all it is not wild boar ragù. After a while he returns mortified, bringing us a taste of just wild boar ragù (which was actually the same sauce with a flattened meatball as a ragù), thus confirming that our ravioli were with the sauce. Then comes the barbecue, nothing exceptional (as someone from Catania I'm used to something else) but still decent. It's a shame because from the reviews and comments of friends who had already been here in the past, expectations were high. The only applause goes to the waiters who, despite being fewer in number than the guests present, managed to manage the needs in an optimal manner. Really good.

10/03/2024: The little restaurant is typically island; My family and I felt at home. Friendly and accommodating staff; fresh fish-based food, really expertly cooked. Average costs and quality dishes. We will definitely return! I recommend it to all those who love good Sicilian cuisine.

17/02/2024: Going back in time, they took us on a trip down memory lane....super "obviously" the snails with tomato. The staff were very kind, we were in a group and they knew how to manage the room with so many people, without ever making us wait for every request. 10 ⭐

07/05/2024: Trattoria with fish menu located on the island of Ortigia in a secluded position not far from the main access bridge, this ensures that it is not too touristy. Traditional Sicilian cuisine with an excellent quality-price ratio. Good, pleasant and friendly service in a simple environment where most of the tables are outdoors. On weekends and in high season it is better to book.

14/05/2024: STELLAR Nice little restaurant on the eastern side of the island of Ortigia. Nice, modern place, competent staff in recommending friendly, courteous and very quick dishes. We had an excellent cheesecake with Etna burrata, a caponata with diced swordfish, with the main courses an octopus cooked in brick that literally melted in your mouth and a sea bass fillet on a bed of seafood puree. The desserts are also excellent. What can I say, beautiful flavours, beautiful colours, an excellent mix of revisited Sicilian cuisine. Definitely worth trying

12/05/2024: A nice little place, with a sea view, brilliantly managed by affable and professional people, offering innovative cuisine with roots in the Mediterranean tradition. We only had a first course... some spectacular square spaghetti Moresca style... really very good!!!

27/02/2024: Excellent pizza, we chose the one with Neapolitan dough... Super digestible so much so that when we finished dinner we felt really light. Fresh and abundant ingredients.. Friendly staff and fast service even with the confusion. We will definitely be back! Thank you.. I recommend booking as the place is small.

25/02/2024: Non c'è nulla da fare! Nonostante ami andare alla scoperta di nuove pizzerie e provare nuove esperienze, la pizza al punto giusto rimane fra le migliori mai provate. Impasto eccellente, leggero, fragrante... Ingredienti freschi, stagionali e genuini... Fabio e personale tutto incredibili. Niente da aggiungere. Provare per credere!
