The only advice I can give is to improve the external environment, especially if you are aware of having lights that attract midges and various insects. It would be advisable to intervene on this because eating with insects around can be annoying. But taking this away, Borgo di Federico is the top

10/05/2024: Delicious food doesn't have to be expensive. You can choose your own fish. We were there twice. Eaten fish and seafood. It was very nice. The second time I ordered not Pizzoli Fantasiosa, only half finished. Was delicious. Outside places are not very nice, very simple furnishings, no mention of ambience. But food was more important to us. So a clear recommendation. Service and menus also in German.

The fish is fresh, high quality and the service amazing. They have also a wonderful courtyard that will open in summertime.
25/03/2024: If you are going to eat in Catania and want to eat well for a reasonable price, this is your restaurant. We ate beef and pasta with shrimp and everything was very good. The meat especially tender. The correct service. I don't value sympathy because it's not out of the norm, neither more nor less.

05/04/2024: Beautiful setting, a delightful corner overlooking the bay of San Giovanni Li Cuti. As for the aperitif, a bit disappointing in terms of variety, quantity and presentation... I would also place some table centrepieces, to recall the marine or even Sicilian atmosphere matching the dark brown heads on display... but that's just my point of sight! Cute music wallpaper 🎶🎧😉

Of the two oysters, only one was edible, the marinated shrimp turned out to be raw, spaghetti with eggplant and fried squid were more or less normal. The general impression is not pleasant. Therefore, two out of five.

The glass bottle of water you paid for is not allowed to be taken with you; you pay just under €50 for it.

Appetizer made of many tastings brought to the table in sequence.
I didn't count the number of tastings, but I appreciated them all very much, truly delicious.

The service and the quality/price ratio are also 5 stars. Pleasant location.
