16/05/2025: Chiami per una prenotazione , risponde la segreteria dove ti avvisa se c’è ancora disponibilità . Prenoti come da istruzioni e dopo un paio di ore ti richiamano per annullare la tua prenotazione e ti spingono a prenotare presso il loro altro ristorante di Catania . Pessimo il servizio di assistenza al cliente .

28/05/2025: We spent an entire evening there, drinking, laughing and eating food that was so good, that it became our scale to compare other meals in Sicily to it :). The fish, the meats, the salads, the pasta, everything! The staff didn’t speak much English but our Italian was enough to communicate. But when it was too difficult to explain what a meal is, the waiter just told us to wait, went to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a plate of meats and other ingredients and showed us which is which, while being so nice and funny, that we wanted to try everything 😂. We did have to wait quite a bit for everything and they did forget a few things (brought them later when we asked) but they had a few big groups and were taking care of everyone so it was understandable. They also did it in such a nice and friendly way that we didn’t mind. Every group spent their entire evening there so it’s not just your typical touristy order-eat-leave in an hour. You go there to spend the evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great time and eat one of the best meals in your life 👌

20/05/2025: When I arrived I thought the restaurant was a bit old-fashioned and I was suspicious, but I quickly changed my mind. The service is great and the food is delicious, the seafood is very fresh, the shellfish is delicious! It was worth getting away from the tourist restaurants.

Very fresh mussel pepper, tasty and balanced in its ingredients. Really good food and generous portions. The catch of the day is really fresh and well cooked, making peace with traditional cuisine. A gem in the heart of Acireale. Thank you.

20/04/2025: A very good restaurant with very interesting choices, I recommend the pumpkin pasta, which no other restaurant we ate at offered! The servers were very kind and welcoming, we immediately felt at ease. Fast, quality service, with very good ingredients!

17/04/2025: A special last evening in Sicily Our last evening in Sicily started rather unusually. After a visit to Taormina, we didn't want to just spend the evening at the motorhome. A Google search showed that this restaurant was the only one in the area that was open that evening - and the consistently positive reviews piqued our curiosity. We were all the more disappointed when we found ourselves standing in front of a locked gate at 7:30 p.m., even though according to Google it should be open from 7 p.m. Luckily we didn't give up and called the phone number provided. A very friendly gentleman got in touch, asked about our wishes - and had apparently already spotted us and our two dogs via a camera at the gate. Shortly afterwards we were shown to reception and warmly welcomed. After a short consultation, the gentleman personally accompanied us to the restaurant. What followed was an evening full of enjoyment: lovingly prepared, unusual and extremely tasty dishes, as they have already been aptly described in many reviews. However, we were particularly touched by the authentic friendliness and motivation of the entire team. Nobody was bothered by our dogs or our camper outfit, which was certainly not suitable for a restaurant. We felt completely welcome and thank you very much for this wonderful last evening on your beautiful island!

13/05/2025: The pizzeria impresses with really good pizza and a beautiful view of the sea. The crust was light and crispy, the toppings fresh and flavorful – exactly what you'd expect. The staff was also very friendly and attentive; you feel welcome and well looked after. The sea view, in particular, makes the visit something special. We'd love to come back!

09/05/2025: Authentic, fresh fish, quality cuisine, friendly welcome despite the language barrier (all in Italian, no English). The boss recommends a mixed seafood dish (delicious!) then we shared a shrimp risotto for two. 1 bt red (nero d'avola 80%, syrah 20%, a delight!), 1 bt water, 2 coffees: 83eur. 3 minutes from the airport, late dinner (9:30 p.m.) upon arrival in Catania by an evening flight. Parking at the restaurant easy and safe. Absolutely good value for money.

20/05/2025: Sunday we were there for lunch for a communion, I can say everything was delicious, kind and super helpful staff. Above all I would like to make a note on the exceptional custard, compliments.

27/05/2025: This was the best meal we had in all of Sicily! We had the parmesan crisp with artichokes and potatoes as an appetizer, and for our meal we had black cod, sea bream with lemon, and black Angus burger. We also asked if they would make a spaghetti with olive oil and garlic dish for us to share (so simple but so delicious). If I was staying here another night, we would come back as we wanted to try the platter of fried fish and meat that we saw every table getting!

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible

25/04/2025: Quality food, but they raised the price (already high) of a vegetable soup from 18 to 25 euros with the excuse that it was "first fruits". I was exhausted by the trip and I accepted... I'm sorry to see that tourists often have to pay higher prices. I will never go back there again.

01/06/2025: A magnificent setting at the foot of Palazzo Biscari, ideal for al fresco dining. The fish is fresh and well-presented, which inspires confidence, and some dishes are truly well-executed. That said, the overall experience sometimes lacked a little precision or seasoning depending on the dish. The service is decent but could have been a little more attentive. A good place despite a few details that could be improved.

01/06/2025: Nice terrace, hidden from view. The service was a bit clumsy, and as is often the case, the bottles on the menu weren't available. The linguine with cozze and lemon zest was well done, the fish was overcooked and a bit bland. The orange salad was interesting, but I would have added fewer olives.
