Very welcoming and warm environment, the service was wonderful. This is the second time I visited this restaurant, and I will definitely go back again, everything is wonderful.. The pasta was great, the grilled swordfish very fresh, the house white wine, perfect. The hostess and server is very gracious and helpful.

We found this place by chance; it was Easter Sunday and they only had a special tasting menu. A great opportunity to try many Sicilian dishes in one meal. Everything was delicious, and many dishes surprised us with their flavor. We were the only foreigners in the dining room, but we thoroughly enjoyed the food and received excellent service.

We organized lunch to celebrate my niece's baptism on Easter Monday. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was family-friendly. Both Stefy and Chef Salvo were very kind.

We organised my daughter’s lunch after baptism in San Michele. Outstanding food and top class service. Would recommend to anybody who wants to try true Sicilian food. Don’t go to chains, dine well and local!

Excellent, delicately spiced appetizers and main courses (meatballs/polpette and swordfish/pesce spada eoliana)! We will definitely eat there again during our stay in Catania!

I'm so glad we found San Michele. There was a genuine passion in everything we tried. The owner (?) confirmed this, telling us how passionately she treats her profession, both the cuisine and the culture of Sicily.

Perfect dinner, we ordered two phenomenal anchovy tarts, a fabulous squid ink pasta dish, and a mixed fried fish platter, two desserts, water, beer, and a glass of wine for €40 per person. Definitely recommend and return. Superb service.
