13/08/2026: There were three of us for dinner. I ordered the platter, which I thought would feature a wider variety of cured meats. In fact, there was only sausage (I don't want to specify the quantity) and four pieces of cheese. For the first course, the tonnarelli with swordfish and lemon ragù (the lemon was a bit too overpowering, for my taste).
For other dishes, the gratin mussels (good).
The fregola was so-so.
The grilled squid was fine.
For dessert, the tiramisu (I think it would have been better to use more cream) and panna cotta.
The staff were kind and attentive.
09/08/2026: Excellent food, reasonably priced for the quality. Friendly and efficient staff. It's a shame we have to leave tomorrow, otherwise I would have been happy to return.

13/07/2026: A disappointing experience, to say the least, both for the quality of the staff (two ladies as friendly as a finger in the eye), but also for the food served: terrible both in quality and presentation. I ordered a first course of ravioli with tomato sauce (and stopped there because of the unpleasant flavor), while my wife ordered a lemon veal scallops (unsightly) with a side of zucchini (sliced very thickly and undercooked). It's a shame, because the setting is not bad and, more importantly, it has a splendid view.

Good value for money
26/05/2026: We booked in advance and went there for dinner with friends, and our first greeting was, "Are there so many of you?".... HORRIBLE WELCOME.
While we were ordering, the waitress even said to one of us, "Shut up!" The rudeness reached its peak here, too.
But the worst was when the food arrived.....they don't do meat, okay, let's order fish.... HORRIBLE QUALITY.
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you find yourself passing through Porto Torres, the "Il Mare" restaurant is an absolute must. It was recommended to us, and we can only confirm its excellent reputation!
We had an entirely seafood dinner, with an appetizer, a first course, and a second course: everything was truly delicious and, above all, super fresh. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite.
The dishes are decidedly generous: what we appreciated most is that quantity never compromises quality; on the contrary, it satisfies you and makes you enjoy your dinner even more.
The staff is impeccable, very attentive to detail and super welcoming. The prices are also fair and perfectly reflect the high quality of the product offered.
Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

11/08/2026: The terrace is truly right on the beach. A fantastic view, especially for the sunset, and not too crowded. We managed to get seats right by the terrace three times. The price was reasonable. The service is a bit slow, but hey...we're on vacation, right?

Little selection, and products were completely different from the photos.
The food was terrible quality, with raw food full of bones and unpleasant odors, and cooked food on par with supermarket fare.
Compared to last year, there was a drastic drop in professionalism and quality.

15/07/2026: A well-equipped and comfortable beach resort in Stintino, with comfortable loungers with mattresses.
We also had lunch there, but it was an experience not to be repeated. In fact, the spaghetti with clams we ordered was drowned in parsley and had no flavor whatsoever: avoid it (also due to the high price)!
The pizzas we saw served at other tables were definitely more inviting.
