I think it is a restaurant that interprets seafood based on traditional Sardinian food. Even if they don't use very pretty decorations, they stick to the ingredients, making each dish unique and enjoyable. The fish tastes great, but would be better if not embedded in the sauce. The back ground music played in the restaurant is American cool jazz or fusion jazz, making the atmosphere more focused on the food. If the weather is nice or there is no wind, this place is recommended as you can open the terrace door and eat while feeling the outside air.

Mangiare qui era una nostra curiosità da tempo . Una domenica sera decidiamo finalmente di provarlo , la stagione non è ancora finita ma l’autunno sembra alle porte , dovuto dal fatto che è piovuto quasi tutta la settimana ed ha portato via un po’ del sapore dell’estate . Ristorante molto carino anche se porta i segni di tanti anni e una bella rinfrescata alle pareti non sarebbe male ….ma non è questa la parte importante ! In sala vista la serata solo 4 tavoli , con commensali per lo più forestieri ( credo fossero tutti turisti in vacanza ) ci accoglie il proprietario che molto gentilmente ci fa accomodare . Il menù non c’è perché ogni giorno propongono piatti secondo il pescato locale , cosa che a me piace molto ! I ristoranti che non offrono per anni sempre lo stesso menù mi piacciono molto e soprattutto mi piace che mi venga consigliato cosa mangiare . 5 tipi di antipasti portati tutti insieme con un percorso di degustazione , che dire uno meglio dell’altro , il primo buono di sapore ma forse un po’ troppo asciutto ! Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto ! Torneremo

Our wedding reception was held at the IL CAVALLUCCIO restaurant. What can I say: everything was fantastic! The Pudda brothers (chef and restaurateur) were exceptional. In particular, Giuseppe, having the role of restaurateur, played a fundamental role in the excellent success of the event: from the choice of the menu - accompanying us in identifying the menu corresponding to our needs -, to the availability of the venue, to the setting up of the tables , to the concrete implementation of the service on the wedding day. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT: welcome, service, kindness, rich and quality dishes. Great service and great value for money. The restaurant is located in a beautiful position, from which you can enjoy a fantastic landscape facing the sea of ​​the Gulf of Asinara.
