05/08/2026: You can't come to Alghero without stopping at La Pergola...

04/08/2026: Seven of us have been to this restaurant twice. The first time, it was 5 stars. The grilled fish was exceptional. Only the swordfish was a little overcooked. The staff was friendly. The second time, it was 1 star. Despite the request to cook the grilled fish quickly, we overcooked it. The calamari was hard and dry, the tuna was dry, and the swordfish was dry. Everything was overcooked. What was a bit shocking was the indifference of some of the waiters, who completely ignored the customers' requests, pretending that everything was fine.

19/05/2026: The welcome and customer service were excellent. The quality of the ingredients used was excellent, and the chef showcased them with professionalism and attention to detail. Among the appetizers, the raw red shrimp was simply SPECTACULAR. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Alghero. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.... Next time, to try the meat-based dishes.

16/05/2026: Tucked away in a narrow alley in Alghero's historic center, it offers ample seating both inside and out. You'll be pleased with the food, location, and service. I recommend it to anyone visiting the town. They're the same owners as the gourmet restaurant MOS, also in Alghero, and another in Sassari.

26/07/2026: The pizzas were very good, but you know what was outstanding? The tiramisu and lemon sorbet. It was proper homemade stuff, absolutely perfect. The staff was wonderful, too! We would come back any time!

24/07/2026: Highly recommended. Excellent service, lovely place, especially the terrace. The mixed fried fish, culurgioni, anemone, calamari, and spaghetti al cartoccio were exceptional. Very satisfied ☺️. The white wine and house desserts were very good. Reasonable prices.

08/07/2026: Cool restaurant, smart menu with an endless list of pizzas. Unlike competitors, they always offer freshly baked focaccia and additional special dishes, like these squid ink linguine with crunchy saffron courgette bites (bit overcooked in my case). Food quality is above average but could be better, good service.

07/07/2026: Very nice restaurant. We had a wonderful meal. Excellent pizza, and the Cannonau beef tagliata with baked potatoes was really good, cooked to perfection. Excellent service, the waiter was kind and really knowledgeable. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

08/06/2026: What more can be said when absolutely EVERYTHING is perfect! The tagliata was delicious, cooked to perfection, no stringy bits, the patate al forno was superb, and the salad was fresh and plentiful! Good table wine, very good seadas!!!

02/06/2026: A beautiful day ended in this place. We had dinner on the terrace with a breathtaking view and sunset. The staff were very kind and fast. The place was very welcoming and the food was truly excellent, and the prices were great. I hope to return very soon. Thank you so much ❤️

14/05/2026: I stopped by for dinner because I was staying nearby. The upstairs dining room is small and cozy. The young woman who welcomed us, however, was less cheerful and a bit stiff about some of her movements. As soon as we entered, there was some fish on display, covered with a cloth that was removed when we entered. When we saw the menu, which was modest and different from what we'd seen online, she replied snidely that "we always change it." No potatoes or side dishes of that sort. So, very limited choice. Despite this, we ate very well, and the chef came into the dining room to say hello. This was greatly appreciated.

11/08/2026: Terrible dinner, limited seafood selection, only frozen mussels, clams, and shrimp sold at exorbitant prices for the quality. Most of the menu isn't even available for ordering because they don't have any fish replacements. The shellfish were brought raw, causing severe stomach and intestinal problems for me and the others at the table. Disgraceful service, the waiters don't want to work and leave you waiting forever just to ask for the menu or a bottle of water. The place is nice, but it looks like a house converted into a restaurant. There's no parking nearby, so it's not even accessible for people with disabilities. I don't understand how it has a 4.3 rating. It looks like a nightmare kitchen; they don't even know how to cook the (packaged) pasta correctly, which they sell you as fresh at an exorbitant price.

11/08/2026: Inedible food, terrible service, and not even a discount. The evening began in a very nice and charming place, I must say, with a lot of people, but no parking. A waiter in his 60s arrived and kept telling us to wait (we were simply asking for the menu after arriving 20 minutes earlier). He proceeded with the order, telling us that some dishes on the menu were unavailable. Oh well, let's overlook it. He forgot to send the order to the kitchen, and after 40 minutes, another waiter arrived to apologize, telling us that due to the inconvenience, we would have to wait even longer. The mussels arrived RAW and tasted rancid, inedible. Subsequently, this same older waiter threw a whole glass of wine, fortunately white, at my boyfriend, reaching into the glass to get it back (we were not brought new wine or a clean glass). We get to the starters and have to send back the spaghetti allo scoglio because it's completely undercooked (even the waiters noticed how raw it was)—at least a good 5 minutes late, and most importantly, it's not homemade, as you'd expect for such a price. We arrive at the checkout on an empty stomach and with a full bill to pay without even a slight discount, not even 5 euros for laundry. Luckily, the uneaten pasta wasn't added to our bill, otherwise I would have snapped, but they must have seen we were young and taken advantage of us, making us have a terrible evening. Don't trust the 4.3 reviews; only foreigners go there. The only positive point is the two young waiters who tried to apologize and remedy the situation.

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful time there; the owner and waitress both spoke French, which was a real plus. The seafood linguine and the potato and zucchini ravioli were delicious. The setting is lovely, with little wicker baskets hanging on the wall. Thank you so much!

30/05/2026: We had breakfast here; they had two croissants on display. As soon as we arrived, after a bite, we realized they were completely empty. I recommend other cafes further along, including those in the square.
